Brown Rice Rice Cakes
I have the smaller version of South Beach and I see that rice cakes are to be avoided. Is this true for brown rice rice cakes as well? I tried to search to see if that had been updated and couldn't find it. Thanks for your help.

Hi. It seems as though the brown rice ricecakes are legal for once in awhile, just not the regular ricecakes. I had posted the question to someone in another thread since I hadn't gotten an answer yet. That's why I thought maybe they were illegal. So, they are something to eat once in awhile. Good to know...we have a new health food/organic section in our grocery store and I saw the brown rice ricecakes, and they are even unsalted. I used to like to eat those with peanut butter on them. So, maybe I will again.

Hmmmm...hummus sounds good. I love hummus and happen to have some in the fridge already. As for the peanut butter, I have been using Crazy Richard's for a long time...no salt, no sugar, no nuttin'.
