So what are you planning for TG dinner?
Has everyone got a plan to keep on track? We are going to our son's for dinner so I will be taking a few items for hubby and myself.
Green Beans Salad Cinnamon Spice bread (for phase 1) made with beans Cheese Cake (phase 1 kind) I think that will take care of us. I know DIL will have turkey and deviled eggs for us also. |

Thanks
I appreciate the thought/ideas on TG...I WILL not blow it, as I said in another TG post, I am so excited about the recipes in the SBD holiday cookbook!! I can make it!! With all that great stuff, I can make things that I/everyone will eat! No one will even know it's SBD friendly!
Nana...I had a?? about the beancake, is it really good?? I made the black bean brownies last night, despearate to have some "sweet" things for holiday gatherings and it was aweful!! I made it exactly like the recipe is and I am a pretty good cook, so maybe it was just me...I guess it just will never be the "real " thing. Maybe I will try the "cake" what do you think of it?Thanks all... Lysa ![]() |

Lysa, well I have made the brownies. Mine were more like a cake brownie but we thought they were good. Tonight I had one cut up in my chocolate yogurt. I REALLY like the bean cake. I like the choc. with the peanut butter and the one with cinnamon really well. Of course everyone has different tastes.....could be I am just not picky!
Hey if it looks like a dessert, then past it on to me!! I have a cheese cake that I baked the other day for phase one and I think anyone who likes cheese cake would like it. Hubby says with a little No Sugar cherry pie filling it would be wonderful. Give the bean cake a try. You will never no unless you try.
