This is a recipe I have used many times. It beats the store canned soup to pieces and it is so quick and easy!! I think it could be a phase 1 recipe. If not let me know please. It is so good!!!!!!
Quick Tomato Soup 1- 6oz. can of Tomato Sauce 3/4 can of water 1 pkg. Splenda 2 Tablespoons skim milk Heat all ingredients in a small sauce pan until good and hot! |

Hi, I am new here...I am hoping to get encouragement to stay on the beach for a while, till I loose at least 35 lbs. I lost my first 35 about 1 1/2yrs ago and got off-plan for a little while. Thanks for this recipe, I made it for dinner tonight and it was sooo good
I will be eating that alot! Now if only I could have the grilled cheese to go with it... Oh well, I can have a little of that once I start phase II. Thanks!Lysa |

I might suggest that you stick with the good tomato sauce such as Hunt's like Carolyn said. I also had it for lunch today and I had bought a cheap off brand.....changed the whole taste.....never again. I will stick with Hunt's. Lysa, I am also new here. Good luck on your last 35 lbs. Gee I wish I was down to my last 35!!!!!!

Thanks Nana for your sweet reply...I have been looking for a place to get the "hope" when your fadin' fast. I am so sick of the yoyo I have put myself on! I am beginning to see finally...I need to eat this way for the rest of my life, I gain as soon as I go back to all the sugar, wheat, heavy foods....I am determined, I need to get healthy, draggin this weight around is really draggin me down! My first goal is the 35 #, after that, I will see how I feel, I will probably need another 15-20 I think?? Thanks...Look forward to chatting with all of you...Lysa |

Lysa, I know all about that "fading fast"!! Up until May I had lost 94 lbs. total. I have now put 43 lbs. back on just since May!!!! Only I could manage to do that!
It was really simple to do. I stated eating sugar again.....and my body doesn't handle sugar well. I just crave more and more. I am to ashamed to even say what all I stuffed into myself over the last few months. I knew when my size 16's wouldn't fit any longer I needed to quit eating! BUT did I???? NO! I am now up to a size 20. Really a size 22 would feel even better! I have a ton of great winter clothes that I can't wear! I finally came to the point where I knew if I didn't get something to get my eating under control I was going to be in a really bad way with my health. Hubby and I started on this a little over a week ago and I am feeling great. No cravings at all. In fact there are a few times I could leave it or take it when it comes to eating!!!!! WOW! Did I just say that! ME, the queen of sweets and eating....just say I could take it or leave it at times! It has taken me a good portion of my life to figure out I can NOT eat sugar. It is a drug to me. I sneak it as a druggie or a drunk would their choice of addiction. I hide it....eat it in private...dream and think about it until I get my next fix. The sad part is, eating is accepted where drinking and doing drugs are not. In the church what do we do??? Have LOTS AND LOTS of dinners!! It is very seldom preached as a sin. Enough said on that. Have a great day!!!!!!

For you Nana...
WOW, Reading your post was like a vision of myself!!
I feel tears well up inside...You are very brave and courageous to post those very private battles...I too am a sugar addict. Was not long ago, that I wanted A (1) Krispy Kreme donut and proceeded to eat 6 in one night!! Having the first one was the downward spiral for me. After losing 40 lbs last year on SB, I had a binge and the binge did not end for 8 months. I had gained back about 20 lbs. Eating and eating. I then saw the scale keep going up,up,up...clothes getting tighter and tighter. I REFUSE to go buy "big" lady clothes again, I won't do it, with hundred's of $$$ of beautiful new clothes I have not even worn yet that I bought when I was doing so well. I said that's it you fool!! What are you doing. I had bought all these beautiful new size 14 clothes to go on my 10th wedding ann. cruise and I made it into them, I was soooo excited, then when we returned, I returned back to the sugar and other junk. I had been a 20 for 8 years! That size 14 felt so good, I thought, how could I have done this! All over SUGAR!! I knew the enemy was trying to kill me with food! That's how I see it anyway I have battled this one way or another forever!! The Lord has truly helped me to see I cannot eat it, I MUST find other ways of comforting myself. I LOVE sweets, pies, pastries ohhhhh.... Well Nana, I have only been back into phase I for 3 days, so I am getting alot of strength and resolve from you and this forum. I had been reading here for a while, but finally decided to register and make some SB buddies and some changes before I baloon right back to where I used to be. It really helps me. I wish you luck and determination like never before! I will be rootin' for ya!! Lysa Last edited by mlmagic : 11-15-2006 at 07:07 PM. |

Oh and Nana, I love your comment on the holidays...It is sooo true, WE have to learn to change. Parties, eating, etc. Is the way the world is. I too want to learn to live my life without the food table making my decisions for me!!
Regardless of the time of year it is!!! I am so excited to see how I do over the holiday's. I am making it a challenge for myself, to see if I can do it! I say to me...I'm up for the challenge!! Thank God we can support each other here...Lysa |
