What Kind of Cereal and Bread do you Eat?
The book mentions Kelloggs All-bran and Uncle Sam. But I haven't found any guidelines - just the ones on the sticky about Phase 2 additions. What cereals do you all eat and keep losing?
Also, do you eat whole wheat or whole grain bread, and what brands? Thanks, Amy |

I don't eat cereal, but whenever describing which bread I eat, it's always the same: "The grainiest f**king bread I can find". I'm aiming for bread that is less bread and more seeds/grains.

I posted my bread in the daily check in, thinking that's where I say this question. LOL
I buy 7 grain bread with flax seed at a bistro called La Madalines. It is really good. It says 25 carbs per slice with 2.5 grams fiber. I only eat one slice a day, and the size of the slices vary because it is french bread sized (as in loaf). Some slices are smaller than the middle of the loaf slices. |

I haven't been doing bread yet. But, when I do, I'll probably do a local bakery's "Pioneer Bread" it's 7 grain and lots of seeds. DH calls it "Kerplunk" bread.
I've been doing Kashi cereal (and trail bars) or steel cut oatmeal for cereal. |

We love McCann's steel cut oats. Bread is Ezekiel, they also make English muffins and hamburger buns, when we go somewhere it's available. Generally, Pepperidge farm whole wheat. Occasionally our store has PF ww mini bagels and English muffins. It's hit or miss, mostly miss. The bagels have sugar in them, though, but half of one with cream cheese is like a dessert.

Cereal for me is either oatmeal or, once in a great while, the SB cereal that looks like shredded wheat. It is pretty simple as far as ingrdients go, has whole grain wheat, fructose, wheat bran, cinnamon, and sucralose. But considering I've had a box in the cabinet for probably two months and its not empty yet, I'm certainly not over doing it. I've been doing SB since February and I probably only eat oatmeal or cereal once or twice a week.

I eat a mixutre of Fiber One and Kashi Go Lean. Both are very high in fiber. When I do eat bread I like Nature's Own Double Fiber. It has 40 calories, 5 carbs and taste awesome.

Well I don't eat cereal, but I do love it. I have one piece of bread maybe every two weeks. It's Ezekiel or Trader Joes Sprouted Whole Wheat. That was the bread I ate even before I started trying to eat healthy. It tastes great.
