Hi Rose
I love the picture. How beautiful. I am down 2.4 pounds this week! Whoo hoo. I was stuck for almost two months at the weight of 155 to 157. Going up and down. I was 151.8 this morning. I hope I continue to lose ...yooo whoooo. I am almost in the 140's ...it has taken so long to get here...and I have not been this weight in I do not remember when. PTL. Have a great day ... Rose it is so hot here. It makes it easy to remember to drink my water. ![]() |

Congrats Rose on breaking the stall.
I am up 2..2 this morning. I am pretty sure it had something to do with the bbq food I ate yesterday. I did have a real hamburger on a white bun with lots of ketchup etc. I am hoping it's just water weight right now. I see no way to put on that much weight overnight. It's heating up here in the Big Apple too. Oh.. I am going to drink my water for sure today. Good luck with your WOE this week. FF |

Rose, I love the picture today! I was raised on PBS and saw so many shows from Britian that ANYTHING from "across the pond" makes me swoon!
My avatar is the perfect example, Michael Ball is an English musical theatre actor/singer. I buy import CDs and usually know the pound exchange rate. My DH calls him "the object of my obsession". Can't believe I've been so busy that I haven't been posting! We are taking down our above ground pool and deck. DH and I worked probably 30 hours on it over the weekend and still have a huge task ahead of us. We're just looking forward to a great pond and patio in its place in the next few years. Hate the fact that it will take that long to get it all done. I'm still sitting right where I've been for a month. 170. I need to string a solid week of good eating together and get back on the exercise program. Lately its just not been happening for me. No huge deviations from the plan, no real weight gains. Just no motivation to keep trying. I keep saying to myself "at least you are maintaining, not gaining", but I really need to get losing. Only 15 pounds to where my incurance company "health coach" says I should be (10 would make me dance like there is no one watching!).I hope everyone has a great day! I'm going to slather on the sunscreen and hit the pool! O.K. so I'm not swimming in it but at least I'll be taking in the sun. ![]()

Morning All.
It was very hard to drag my tired tushie out of my nice, warm cozy bed. After sleeping in the great outdoors, my bed was heaven! I feel I should be strict on the plan today, to make up for my camping lapses. You know, I looked back over my eating during the trip and it sure seemed at the time that I ate a whole lot more than I did. Hmmmm. Back to work/school today. Tomorrow Son #2 and I are going on a field trip and will be tramping all over one of our more colorful historical towns. I'll be getting my exercise in chasing after all those kids! I'll check in again after work. Have a great day!

I had to post a quick ~woohoo!!!~
I took my measurements before I got in the shower and I don’t care if the scale moves tomorrow or not! I am melting away! I have lost a total of 10.25 inches since I started SB: 2.75” off my waist, 1.5” off my “spare tire”, 1” off my hips, .75” off each thigh and 1” off each arm!!!!! I am *so* rejuvenated! |

Well, today is officially 4 weeks on SBD. I did good most of the weekend, except I did not eat enough veggies or drink enough water.
Sunday, we watched the Indy and then spent part of the day at Mission Bay Park laying on the grass watching the almost niece play in the water. Yesterday we went over to La Jolla to the Children's pool so that my almost niece (age 5) could see the seals. Walked up and down the La Jolla Cove, so I'll count that as my exercise. We stopped and got Gelato. They had a low sugar, nonfat chocolate that was so good that you couldn't tell that stuff was missing. Then last night we went to Chili's. I had a Cabernet Sauvignon and Fajitas....and yes, I ate the three tortillas. I was the same weight this morning, so I'm not terribly concerned. I have a theory, that if you've been good, but have still stalled, that a little cheat will start the process again. Mom is gone until tomorrow, so I plan on being good for the next few days. Hoping to get my two pounds out this week. |

Hello Beachers!!
WTG on breaking your stall Sheila!! Today was a good day for me. I went and took my GED assessment testing and scored really high. Which means I don't need to have a tutor and can just continue to study the next month and take the test at the end of June. My Sweetie did take me out to lunch today so I know I ate more then I should considering it was breaded chicken fingers smothered in hot mustard sauce and a chicken salad. We split the orders but it was still too much food. Poor dear thought we were being so good, until I explained that the fingers were breaded and deep fried before the mustard got smeared on them. My menu is this: B: Small piece of broccoli quiche, 4 ham roll-up with cream cheese L: Chicken salad and 5 buffalo wings (we went out to eat lunch!) D: Small hamburger patty and garden salad with bleu cheese dressing S: SF peach jello with real whipped cream and a sprinkling of walnuts Lots of water and 3 diet beverages. I have decided to add back in grains in the way of high fiber cereal and some fruit, like berries. I have been with no grains or fruit for 3 weeks now and haven't had any big drops. I want to eat our cereal at night for dinner and see how that will affect me. I think eating dinners, which are mostly meat and salads/some cooked veggie are still too high in calories and I don't think the carb difference will matter. I will see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. ![]()

Whew, I'm tired. Still have more laundry to do, but we had a Scout meeting and couldn't get everything finished. Being honest now:
B- 2 eggs over easy, rf cheese, black coffee S – cheese stick L – romaine lettuce salad w/ turkey, tomato, ff cheese shreds, ff blue cheese dressing S – beef jerky D – Turkey smoked sausage, green pepper and onion stir fry with ricotta cheese Pretty sure I got in all my water. Tomorrow is weigh in. Crosses fingers (and toes…and eyes!) |
