Recipe Analysis

I am just wondering if there is a tool we can use to figure out how to count our portions when we make up a recipe of our own. For example, the peanut butter cookie recipe in the recipe thread....how many (approximately, since it depends on how large we make them) count as a portion? I just want to make sure I don't overdo it. I've made these before when on a different plan and I already know how great they are...Thank you very much.

This is a tough one. If it's the SB cookie recipe, it's two cookies, if they are fairly small.

Generally, I go by the carb and calorie count, or just eat one of something if it is a sweet. If it is a strictly legal dish, then a small serving would be a portion, resisting the temptation to pile it on. Of course, if it is a strictly legal dish, then overdoing it wouldn't be as bad as it could be. This doesn't help much, does it?
