Morning Folks. It's a brand new day.

I'm very pleased to say that despite being frustrated and angry last night I did not cave in and eat the chocolate that was sitting in my drawer. It's been there for the last three weeks, but I've been able to ignore it. Yesterday, what with the whole "book report debacle" and my raging hormones...I could hear the chocolate whispering to me. Get thee behind me you Devilish Dark Chocolate!

The procrastinator is awake and finishing off his report. I'm eating my oatmeal and life should resume it's natural rotation around the sun.

Will check back in after work. Have a great day fellow "beachers".

Okay, I was a bad girl last night. I had two small pieces of pizza with whole wheat crust. I finally caught DH's cold and all I wanted was comfort food and a Theraflu. Conked out early last night.

So, I'll behave myself today. Although, I'm so not hungry right now. I may have to tell Mom to stay at my brother's for an extra night. I don't want to give my mother a cold that she'd have to fly with.

Hey friends!
I've had a busy morning already. Took DD to school so she didn't have to drag her "Army Costume" on the bus, DS and I then bought more flowers (last day of the season sale at the local vo-tech school), hit two grocery stores and McDonalds. I ate the inside of a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, he ate the biscuit and a side of scrambled eggs. Now it is him eating what I leave on my plate not the other way around!
TOM hit me from out of the blue today! Wasn't expecting it till the start of next week. Certainly helps explain the constipation I had been feeling. I've been really off schedule since I started SB in February. Had absolutely no cravings this month, unlike last when I needed chocolate twice a day! I'm not asking questions, just enjoying the fact that I didn't gain the normal 3-4 pounds.
I'm feeling particularly motivated to do house work today. Not sure if I should just go get stuck in on it or if I should go lay down till the urge passes.
Hope the sun is shining on your Beach today!

B. two eggs, sausge patty, diet v8, coffee
s. no snack (too close to lunch)
l. SoBe's Caprese style chicken w/Broc& caul.
s. yogurt
d. unsure yet.

so far so good. I wish I didnt live so darn far away from town. I havent felt like gathering up the baby to go into town to buy some veggies and the darn book yet lol I have been real busy with laundry and you know, spring cleaning, JOY.

Do you guys weigh in on Mondays or anything? I was searching and searching for the answer to this one, refried beans are bad for both phases? and why? I also noticed some ppl using brown sugar, thats ok??

Refried beans are high in fat and lower in fiber. I think that is why. Just a guess.

Reg, I do it super easy! Just sort of wash the outside of the skin and split it down the middle. Then I make light cross-cross cuts across the top of the zucchini and drizzle a tiny amount of olive oil on it. Then I sprinkle it with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning. I bake that for about 15 minutes and then sprinkle some low fat shredded cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes. It comes out yummy and you can vary your seasonings and cheese to suit your likings. I love it with parmesan cheese as well.

Today went well for me. I am studying very hard for my GED. The algebra section is kicking my butt and making me want to pull my hair out. But, I am holding it together.

I did the treadmill for 30 minutes and did 3 minutes at 3.5, which was my personal best so far at that speed. I also did the weight machines so that I don't wobble when I wave.

Menu for the day:
B- hard boiled egg with one oz of low fat cheddar
L- Leftover pork stir-fry
D- Sirloin burger with steamed broccoli and cheese sauce
Tons of water and a few Diet Rites

Good for you in resisting the chocolate Lynn!! I have a bag of dark Hershey's kisses sitting behind me that LOVE to call my name. I don't touch them though. They are in the care of my Sweetie and he will occasionally allow me to have one or two. This week it's none because I AM GOING TO SEE THE SCALE DROP!!!

What kind of sausage? Did you find turkey sausage......I can't seem to find it. All other sausages are a no-no on all 3 phases.

I did ricotta all last week as a desert for us. I gained 3 lbs by Monday as you all know from my griping about it. I have given up the ricotta and am making SF jello with real whip topping every other day. We shall see how that does for me come next Tuesday.

Twingles*so blessed, congrats on becoming an aunt!!

Ohhhhh and I agree about the feta cheese. I never had it until a few weeks ago and now just adore it!!
