***Wednesday April 26 check-in***

Hey I'm first with check in again today! I think we're all getting pretty busy with "stuff", hope every one can make time to stop by and let us know what's going on on their "beach"
DH has been out of town and I've been pretty busy so meals have been kind of eat what you want when you want. The kids are getting their favorites and I eat what I want whenever. Not incredible for "family mealtime" but I'm staying on plan with no problem. I took an hour off yesterday and went to Panera Bread for a cup of coffee while DS was at pre-school. I'm very proud of myself, everything smelled great but determinedly walked up to the counter and said "Just a regular coffee for here". I didn't even glance at the baked goods! I sat down with my coffee and read my book in front of the fireplace (the weather was rainy, cold and gloomy and I felt lucky to score the cooshy chair). Sometimes little things can really revive me.
I'm hoping for a bit of a whoosh here in the next day or so. TOM has put my weight up some, but I've been true to the plan with food choices ...we'll see

Kristen, thanks for starting the check-in thread. And congrats on staying away from the baked goods. That is my major weakness - I have a hard time walking into a coffee shop and staying away from the muffins and the cakes. It's been better since living in TX but when I lived in San francisco, with a bakery (and good bakerioes!) on every corner, it was hell.

I'm doing fine and trying to get ahead with the work I have left to do for my classes. I've made a pact with myself that I will finish all my papers (I just have to print them out and go over them - the work is all pretty much done) by next week so I can just turn them into my professors and not have to worry about anything. The department will be having an end-semester lunch with sandwiches and drinks (and, if I know them, cookies and brownies ) next week but I'm going to try and stay away from that. I actually scheduled office hours for my students just during that time. I might just cave in, though, since I know I"ll be feeling good because it's the end and I'm leaving here. If I do, I'll just stick with the sandwiches and diet drinks and stay away from the sweets .

Put on a pair of pants this morning that I antiscipated would be looser. They sort of are and aren't - they fit about the same around the belly but that's because they're slipping down a bit .

Late checking in great seeing this thread going. Thanks Kristen for your posting. Not much happening here other than being good with the foods. Haven't weighed so not sure what is happening there. I just now my clothes are still feeling the same and I look the same. LOL Have a nice evening and night.
