***Tuesday, April 25 Check-In***
I typed a new check in post earlier and don't know what I did that didn't get it posted. No offense to anyone but as my DH would say "blonde moment"
Sometimes I wonder where my head is.Any how...like I said in the first post.... I'm starting us off and going to be checkin in more often to try to keep myself on track. TOM really seems to be messed up and messing me up. I know its on its way but not really started yet. Cravings for chocolate have been pretty high and needed crunchy /salty snack last night while I was watching TV. I hope that by the end of the week it will have all passed and I show a decent loss. Hope today is great for everyone! ![]()

Afternoon all,
Back at the university today and I'm already tired. However, so far I'm managing to stay away from the chocolate and cookies floating around the office (leftovers from both mine and another collegue's classes). Having the afternoon fruit really helps. Hope others will check in so we know all is going well .Tam |

Hi just a quick check to wave at you. Tam you are doing just great with all the temptations floating around. I'm so proud of you as I know how hard it is to handle those. You are doing great! Keep a cheese stick handy for protein when the junk foods are close by. That will help along with some fruit. Sometimes fruit alone can sabotage you but with the little protein added you will feel more satisfied. I like to snack on the edamame too. I eat it straight from the freezer. It satisfies that crunch.
Have a great Beach day everyone. A big HI to all who follows! ![]()

Hi Everyone,
Just checking in for my accountability. I made that breakfast quiche this morning that is posted in the sbd recipe thread. I made a HUGE batch so that I can have this pre-cooked and ready to roll for grab and go meals. I used 16 eggs three cups of part skim mozzarella/reduced cheddar shreds mix 3/4 of a green pepper diced up 1 cup low fat cottage cheese 4 tbsp. diced white onion 8 oz. Canadian bacon chopped salt and pepper. THIS WAS SO DELICIOUS! I ate it with a little squirt of low carb ketchup and a splash of tabasco. DELICIOUS! I look forward to making a lot of these recipes. I think the first thing that I will make in phase 2 are those orange oat muffins on there. I have been eyeing that recipe everytime I go on there. I better go and get drinking my water. I am far behind on my water for the day and need to get it in before the evening so I can actually sleep and not have to go to the bathroom 100 times ![]() |

Hi everyone
![]() I made home made spaghetti sauce last night and used the whole wheat and grain pasta, it was pretty yummy. I ate a cheese omelete for bkf and a not so healthy popcorn for lunch b/c I was running errands and didn't want to stop (my mom was watching my 3 little darlings) and then left over spaghetti for dinner. Had a few nuts for a snack. Been sick with sinus and allergy symptoms, fever so not real hungry (my kiddos have it too). Have a great day! |

Anna I am trying to bump my water up too! I am so excited for you that the pounds are falling off. I have been only getting about 32 oz. or so in a day plus one or two diet sodas and my iced Americano and really want to get it up to 64 oz. minimum with the mentality that for every caffeinated drink that I have I have to drink another glass of water....I know that I will get there for sure once the summer gets closer. I always drink water easier in the warmer months. GOOD JOB! keep up the good work.
Twingles - I am so sorry that you are not feeling well and that the kiddies are not feeling very good either. ![]() |

Moni
Keep working on that water you will get there and it does make a big difference. I also switched from regular coffee to decaf. I do drink a diet rite cola once in awhile but not to often maybe one a week. Whwn I gave up the regular coffee it was so much easier to add the water cause I am not a big fan of decaf and don't drink it by the pots full like I did regular coffee. Anna |
