~*~ Weekend Menu/Water Thread 4/22-4/23~*~

Hi everyone,
Thought I'd start the menu thread for this weekend, since I know it's helpful to many of us.

I'm starting phase 2 today (whoohoo!) but easing into it slowly. Here's what I have for today:

B: 1 hard-boiled egg, celery, nonfat yogurt w/SF syrup and a sprinkle of chopped nuts
S: homemade tehina (this is basically seseme paste with some lime juice, water, and spices) and green pepper
L: white beans, veggies, cumin, all sauted in a bowl, orange
S: soy nuts
D: green bean, feta, and olive salad, baked sweet potato, lime creme (another variation on the mocha creme I put on the recipe board)

What's up for the rest of you all?

Morning all (well, afternoon!)

Just woke up an hour ago, but here's my menu for the day (phase 2):

B: lowfat cottage cheese, celery, nonfat yogurt w/SF syrup and sprinkle of nuts
S: laughing cow lite and raw broccoli florettes
L: faux fried rice with Morning Star veggie crumble, strawberries
S: peanuts
D: Salad with capers and beans, couscous, mocha creme

It was nice having the fruit and grain yesterday and not too much at all. I'm curious about the rest of you all, though - when you started adding grains and fruit, did you find yourself eating less of the other foods than you did for Phase 1? I ended up not eating the snacks yesterday and I'm wondering if it's because my meals are now "bulkier" with the added stuff.
