Rose, are you a vegetarian? Just curious, because I noticed you eat a lot of boca burgers. Your lunch sounds just like my dinner tomorrow
.Menu for the day: B: 1 hard-boiled egg, celery, nonfat yogurt w/SF syrup and a sprinkle of chopped nuts S: should have been broccoli florettes and laughing cow but I didn't have time L: tofu, LF swiss, tomato puree, veggies in a "bowl" S: some kind of nuts, maybe soy nuts D:Salad with lentils, Mocha Ricotta creme (going to try mixing it wiht a little LF sour cream and cream cheese and see what comes up - if it's good, I'll post it in the recipes thread) Water: I'm not counting this officially but I drink at least 10-12 glasses a day and easily more than that. Tam, Salad with Lentils? Can you explain. I bought a bag of these and do not know what to do with them. Thank you. |

Rose - good to know there's another vegetarian out there
.Darkfire - this is a salad with basically lentils (they're very basic to make - just boil them until soft, they take much less time than other beans because they're so small), lettuce, red bell pepper, celery, green onion, and a bit of parsley in a salad dressing made of olive oil and balsamic vinigar. It's quite tasty and the beans are good source of protein for me since I'm a vegetarian. Tam |
