not really....I have alot to lose but I wanted to tell you about my recent experience
I have been on a low fat vegetarian regime for 8 months and lost a total 10 lbs which kept coming back ....too many carbs, I guess last week I went on vacation and decided to change what I was doing because I knew it would be next to impossible to stay veg at the home of my meat-eating friends I vowed to eat fish, salads and green veggies...I was pretty good...but consumed a fair amount of alcohol, and more fat, carbs and sodium than I would have normally taken in when I returned from vacation I was 6 pounds above the weight I was when I left for vacation..jumped on south beach and have lost ELEVEN pounds in 4 days!!!.....OR, if you chose, I am 5 pounds down from my pre-vacation weight sooooooooo....I am psyched and ready to stay on this program forever eggs,seafood,salads,green veggies are what I have been eating I know a woman who ALWAYS eats that way - she is totally trim and petite she also excercises daily.....if that's what it takes, that's what I'm going to do!!! |
