cornighh game hen????
I bought these to have tonight for dinner. Then I looked on the label and they look pretty high in fat! I'm wondering if anyone ever has these? I'm committed now since they are defrosted. Maybe if I don't eat the skin it would be OK??? And I will only eat part of one. Just wondering if anyone else makes these???

I think you are supposed to pull the skin off of poultry anyway, aren't you? It's been a looooong time since I cooked one, but I always cooked them on a rack and the fat drained off. Maybe just eat the breast?

I make cornish game hens every once in a while. I have some friends that really like them, so they're fun to make for a dinner party. Personally, I don't know what the big deal is with these little birds, but what the heck. They're easy to make, just bake or roast. Or add a poultry rub to them to spice them up a bit. And certainly remove the skin. ![]() |
