Adding back fruit
I am stating phase II tomorrow and want to begin adding a little fruit. Somewhere I read you should not eat it in the morning and should have it with some protein. I bought strawberries today....I was thinking of putting them in some yogurt. Do I have to wait until afternoon snack to do that vs. breakfast?

That's right. The book says to not eat fruit for breakfast because it can trigger an insulin jolt first thing in the morning and trigger cravings. It says to save it for lunch or dinner. One serving a day at first, and an apple, berries, or grapefruit are recommended as good choices for beginning. Fruit should be eaten as part of a meal or with some protein if eaten as a snack.
We often eat berries, with yogurt and walnuts for breakfast. It doesn't cause cravings for us, but if it does for you, just move the fruit to later in the day.

I have fruit for a snack and some with my breakfast without any problems but yet again each person is different so do what is comfortable and watch your body reactions. You can adjust things from there.
