Am I doing this wrong?
Can you have navy beans on phase 1. I'm really trying to be diligent with this diet. I read where you could have beans so I put them in a crockpot with some cubes of ham, dried minced onions, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. I limited myself to 1/2 cup which I ate with another green vegetable.
I also mix up a scoop of the Atkins drink mix with a scoop of the whey protein drink to have for a shake when I'm not that hungry for a meal. Is this okay? I haven't done this very much. I'm still on the Phase 1 but I'm wondering when the pounds are going to drop? I've lost a couple but I'm waiting for the big drop! Is there suppose to be one? Thanks, Tonia |

The big weight drop depends on how clean or junky you were eating before starting SB. If you came over from Atkins or another plan, there won't be a big drop. How long have you been on phase 1?
Beans are on plan for phase 1 and a half cup serving is just right. I don't know about the shakes--some people do ok with them and some don't. Why not drop it for a while and see what happens. Be sure to watch portion sizes. Could you post a few days of menus with amounts and all ingredients, so we can try to see a pattern? How much have you lost, total, in what amount of time.
