Am I doing this wrong?

Can you have navy beans on phase 1. I'm really trying to be diligent with this diet. I read where you could have beans so I put them in a crockpot with some cubes of ham, dried minced onions, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. I limited myself to 1/2 cup which I ate with another green vegetable.

I also mix up a scoop of the Atkins drink mix with a scoop of the whey protein drink to have for a shake when I'm not that hungry for a meal. Is this okay? I haven't done this very much.

I'm still on the Phase 1 but I'm wondering when the pounds are going to drop? I've lost a couple but I'm waiting for the big drop! Is there suppose to be one?

The big weight drop depends on how clean or junky you were eating before starting SB. If you came over from Atkins or another plan, there won't be a big drop. How long have you been on phase 1?

Beans are on plan for phase 1 and a half cup serving is just right.

I don't know about the shakes--some people do ok with them and some don't. Why not drop it for a while and see what happens.

Be sure to watch portion sizes. Could you post a few days of menus with amounts and all ingredients, so we can try to see a pattern? How much have you lost, total, in what amount of time.
