Going tonight to get my first week first phase food but would

like to know it says we can have occasionally sugar free popsicles and hard candy. Now I know we are not supposed to gorge on this and I wont but I know myself and if I have a weak moment I would rather reach for these instead of blowing everything. Was there anything in the beginning of the two weeks that helped get you over the hurdles?
Thanks

When I did phase 1 around the beginning of Jan. I had a sugar-free fudgescile every nite. they are 40 cal. I used the 75 calorie treat for this. also had philly swirls ( 10 cal. apiece. I got these at Sam's. Good Luck

cereals are phase 2 and 3...... I did have a bowl last week for a quick lunch or dinner, before I had to run out the door, but I ate it with carb countdown milk...(I'm LC at heart, but doing South Beach as a liveable plan)

We were afraid to buy the fudgcicles on week one. I know we aren't really looking at carbs but they looked too high and no good nutrition from them.
We had sugar-free jello every night for a sweet treat. I also like the ricotta (or cottage cheese) splenda and either cinnamon or cocoa powder. I love hot cocoa and bought the instant and found it was way too sweet for me, then made some with splenda, cocoa powder and skim milk. It was better but I've still got to tweek the amount of sweetener and cocoa.

Just thought of one other thing that helps with cravings and munchies.
BRUSH YOUR TEETH! Sweet taste in your mouth, clean palate, and that "why would I ruin this clean mouth" feeling!

Sf jello for the sweet and laughing cow lite, very thin turkey pastrami and celery for the snacks got me through.
