Is this in the updated book after 2003? I didn't see this in the 2003 version or in the update sticky. Maybe I missed it. Sorry if I did

Also I wanted to know if reduced fat dressings are okay for Phase I as long as they are low sugar? My sister said you can have the full fat versions but I wasn't sure if she was right or not. I didn't see anything specifically in the book about it.

There have been a lot of updates since the book. You can find a lot of it on the SB web page. The book is really incomplete and it's hard to understand the diet w/o all the updates.

I think low fat dressing is allowed. I can't say for sure, but it would seem crazy if they weren't.

Hi and sweetiejennie.

No, I don't think the book has been revised in any of the publishings. The Phase 1 list and sample menu is updated from what's in the book with this notation,

Infomation for this posting was gleened from Dr. Agatston's book, his updates and various postings found on the internet. To our knowledge, it contains the latest updates. Our thanks to all!

It also isn't in the update sticky since that list was mainly to be printed off to supplement the info in your book. But, it would also be good to print it off also along with the How to Adapt Your Food Plan which we've obtained even later.

We'll keep updating as Dr. A. updates, it just keeps getting better and better doesn't it.

About the the low fat dressings, he prefers the full fats in most dressings since low fat usually means more sugar, more carbs, mayo can be either light or regular.

I understand you being curious, that was one thing that was confusing in the beginning for all of us. If you haven't already, I would advise that you buy a copy of the -new revised- 2nd edition Good Fat Good Carb Handguide, it answers so many individual questions.

Good luck!

Hi anj, missed you post, thanks!

Hi and again Santacruz!

One of our members, redqueen, aka Chris, had a suggestion that we print it off and use it as a daily menu guide, I thought that was an awesome idea!
