Back on the Beach

I’m back.
Those past few months were such a mess. I had problems at work, problems in my personal life, and problems with the food. Oh, god, I’ve so messed up with the latter...
Searching for some miraculous cure to comfort my soul I tried some ‘miraculous’ different ways of eating – was put on yogurt for a few days by my doctor, then went on Atkins, I even did Meat&Egg fast – what a hell I was thinking? Probably that changing my diet would change my life ... well it didn’t.
I love South Beach!
I was doing so well, did it all the way (only being on Phase III I confronted Christmas and let myself off the wagon...)
Why hadn’t I gone back on SB? I don’t know. But this nice Sunday I’m very sure of my path to a healthy weight range for my lifetime – I’m back on the Beach!

well greta, I would say you are doing well looking at your states. and welcome back to south beach.. What some of us do is go on scaresdale for two weeks to get us tract.. Is very simular to south beach.. you can look at some of the past posts and find the diet there and will find it is alot like south beach and also you get fruits and vegs.. is some thing my body needs and wants. But can I ask what size are you in and height and age.. We are all made different.. and one can be 145 adn in size 6 or 8 and another 125 in the same size.. I find I am med frame and can get into 6 and 8's at 145. But guess this time around am trying for 128 or 130 adn then will see if I get into most of the clothes hanging in my closet.. LOL> You think you did bad I went all theway to 164 at holiday time.. and am back down to 154 this morning.. I joined some boards and they really help for support . and then I am doing a small challenges and goals.. but went to fit day and found out if I loose 1 1/2 lbs a week I can make my goal by June 1st.. So this has helped me mentally when I just loose a lb or none and then 2 the next. so helps.. and I weigh every day for acountibility and also do measurements every other week.. And then post my weekly losses or gains.. Welcome ot this board.. and I hope your personal life is getting better.. You need to find the diet that or way of eating that will fit into our life style and still allow you to enjoy eating and not go to bed hungry.. I am working on it this time around.. Let em know how you are doing..
