*♥*Thursday Check In - Jan. 26*♥*
Hi Beachers! I did have a small amount of cheese today, but for the most part I've been sticking with my yogurt. My husband (who does all the cooking) just said to me, "well I guess I'll just eat the rest of this hamburger meat." I'm really not that hungry and am curious about my results.
I will let you all know on Saturday and am not having high expectations. I think I will go back to South Beach Phase 1 when I'm done with this fast. I'm really wanting to find some kind of work at home....sigh..... ![]()

Hi Steph and beach babes!
I'm thinking of all of you, seems I can't get things going here. I've been sick with my ear again and was with my oldest daughter today, she called sick this morning and we ended with her up in the emergency room, she's going to be okay, just going to take a little time. Seems she's been suffering with a staph infection on her leg. We go for a follow up for her tomorrow with her Dr. I'll be back onboard asap! I've read the posts, keep up the good work you guys and yah Lisa on the gym club honor! |

Lisa, are you the one who told me about the running site? Someone did, and I thought it was you. Tomorrow I will be doing the second set in the series for whoever told me, thank you so much. I loved the first one. Oh, btw, Lisa, you are such an encouragment to me. Thank you so much.
day 4 for scarsdale in the morn. Tomorrow is a big eat day. More than I have since I started on this diet. Will post menu when thread arrives. Great going Stephanie. I am going back to phase 2 of SB when done. I am already eating bread and fruit on this woe, so I figure it wont hurt any. Talk to everyone tomorrow. Sheila

Good morning everyone. I had a good eating day yesterday until the nighttime munchies. Struggling bad with that. I kept it to popcorn mostly but...I poured the last bit of a bag of tortilla chips (mostly crumbs) onto a plate and loaded it with cheese & melted in the microwave. I ate a little bit of it but came to my senses and trashed the rest. I didn't weigh in today. I'm not feeling good today and I guess I just didn't care. I haven't eaten breakfast yet either, which I always do. My throat is so sore.
Yesterday I had to leave work early and rush my son to the doctor. His right ear was bleeding. The doctor couldn't be exactly sure of the problem because of so much blood debris but he prescribed antibiotics. Poor thing has been fighting ear infections his whole life. He's 15 now. When he was younger we had to have tubes put in his ears FOUR times. Stephanie, wow...I can't believe how strong you're being with this yogurt fast. I'd never be able to do it! I can't wait to see your results! Marva, I hope you and your daughter are feeling better soon. Staph infections are no joke...and as far as your ear goes... ow. I know how bad ear infections hurt! Sheila, I don't know anything about Scarsdale but good luck with it for the remaining time you do it before switching back to SB! Lisa, I hope you can get a copy of that picture and share it with us!

I didn't even want one since my stomach has shrunk so much. Depending on this week's results - I'm thinking about doing it next week also. I need more yogurt for tomorrow and am off to Trader Joes today on my lunch hour. ![]() |

Hi All,
I'm doing well with sticking to the phase 2. I am glad to have my fruit back & honestly can say I really don't miss bread that much. I've been adding a carb cutters wrap as my bread serving each day. I know I'm not eating as often as I should because I usually just don't eat breakfast (which I know is very bad). I was wondering if a protein shake would be ok for breakfast in this phase? I can do a shake with no problem but I just never feel like eating when I first get up.

I did not eat a doughnut! I was really tempted at first and sent an IM to a friend and told him to tell me not to eat one. So we chatted and then I forgot about them. I had a really good day yesterday and am really trying to get back on track. Life has just been really busy the last three weeks, but things are settling down now. I am going to get my butt back in the gym this weekend and get back into my routine.
Have a great day! |

Hi Gang
Marybeth. I was never a breakfast eater either. I do believe in breakfast now though. It takes time. I was never hungry but I get up and eat it anyway. It really does help me throughout the day. JMHO! Stephanie, I do not know how you can just do yogurt...I love yogurt, but it does not fill me up. I could eat a quart at a time. ![]() Hi Marlette! Pir DONT EAT THEM! My dh and I went shopping last night and he takes me through the bakery section at Walmart!!! Ewwwwwwwww I told him, I have to get out of this dept! Theresa, glad you trashed the chips. Good going. Marva, I pray you are feeling better. Hugs to you. Hi Lisa. Got to run. Oh, down another .8 !!!!! Sheila |
