I made the switch for sure
Last night I was pretty sure that I was going to switch...and I did. I began last night and I can't tell you how wonderful it was to eat strawberries with Equal on top. Yummmmm.
I also had a non-fat, sugar free yogurt. Also yummmmm! This morning: A bowl of SB cereal (pretty darn good actually!) and a V-8. Heaven to be able to eat something besides eggs! |

I came from Atkins also, and I liked it because I had no cravings to eat. BUT it was not working for me. I do not think I was getting enough carbs.
Anyway, I love south beach too. And I am losing!! Best wishes to you on this WOE. Sheila |

Glad you've joined us here on the Beach Theresa!!! I really like the SBD cereal. Yummy. It's so nice to have something besides eggs and bacon for breakfast!

I too moved over to the Beach from Atkins. I thought it would be a hassle, but I am actually taking the time to prepare salads to take to work. I cut up all of my veggies early in the week for the whole week. Then I grill shrimp, or cut up turkey to go on top. The SB ranch dressing is good. Four of us ladies at work are doing SB so it makes it easier for us to lunch together and share. I hope to lose 30 more lbs by Sept.

You're so lucky to have a support system at work! This is the only support I have. That's ok, though because the people on this board rock!

I wish you luck.. I have tryed atkins and many others but always fell off cause I missed my fruit... So I to am back on South beach kind of scaresdale.. Didnt do to good today but then took very small peace of cake after no cheats for almost 3 weeks.. And then went back on my way of eating now and forever.. I am trying to teach myself portions on some things I really think I have to have once in awhile. But love the eating on south beach and scaresdale.. I hope to be at 128 or 13 by June 1st.. Wishing everyone luck and will be lurking here for support to..

I am really hungry tonight. Instead of my original ricotta treat, I think an apple, pebutter and a very small tangerine instead.
