I'm trying Linda Sue's deep dish pizza for dinner tonight!

Just thought I'd share with you ladies my progress so far. I've made the "crust" and let it chill in the fridge for about 45 minutes. I just added my toppings, mozzerella cheese, green peppers, onions and lots of mushrooms and pepperoni. It's baking in the oven right now and even my teen son the king of "I don't do low carb eating" is begging for a piece! It smells so yummy. I'll report back how it actually tasted in a little while.

Sorry I didn't report back. 24 was on last night and it was so good that I got all wrapped up in it and then it was time for bed.

Here's my report on the pizza: it was delicious! DH loved it and I would have gotten a report from DS but we had a little tiff last night and he wasn't talking to me - so what else is new? Anyway, I would definitely make it again. I think if I let it cool a bit more in the fridge, it the consistency of the crust would be a bit better but it was really really good. I don't have the link right now at work but if you do a search on the recipe help board for dish deep pizza, you'll find it. Yummy!

MMMmmmmmm sounds so yummy! I might have to seek it out! Have you ever tried low-carb tortilla pizzas? It's something I used to do a while back. Basically I just use a small low-carb whole wheat tortilla for the crust, add toppiings and bake. It's quick, easy and yummy!

I used to make it quite often when I was doing Atkins! It IS very good!

Now that Boboli makes whole wheat crusts, I am going to try one of those soon.

You guys are making me regret I graciously am allowing my husband to eat the last piece! I didn't have the 13x9 baking glass dish but only an 8x8 which worked quite nicely. I'll have to try some of your other suggestions for crust. I love pizza but try not to have it too often. It can be one of those trigger food for me that sends me over the edge so I have to be careful.

wow that sounds so good. I use to make homemade pizzas many yrs ago. I am glad now that someone is making whole wheat crust. I will look for them next time I go shopping.

I buy the south beach pizza. I really like it. Doesnt stall me either.
