Hi Beachers,
Today is day #2 of me being on a clean Atkins Induction. I'll let you all know how well I'm going to do - especially considering since I never did one before. Since I can wear jeans to work, I WILL get back into my pre-pregnancy 29" waist Levis 501 jeans this year!

Happy Monday Beachers!

Stephanie, I know you'll make it into those jeans! Great goal!

I am late this morning...just have a few minutes beforee I log into work! I am doing well, even though the scale won't budge! I definitely need to do something to get my body back into losing mode. I know I am still having a problem with portion sizes. That will be my focus for the week.

Have a beach party (one perfect day) today y'all!

wow...a 29 in waist. I wonder if I was ever that small. Maybe when I was 10? LOL
I am doing good this week. I am at 165.4 which is a loss of 1.8 pounds this week. Yahoooo I will take it. I have started phase 2 on Fri I think... I added an apple , today I got to eat a slice of carb style 7 grain bread. It was so gooooood. I had it with my bacon and eggs...yummy. Will post my today menu tomorrow on the menu thead if I can find it. Went to post yesterdays today, but it isnt there ...?
Weather is suppose to warm up again. Hot , cold , hot , cold...geesh.

Hi -
I'm back from all my travels and ready to get serious. I weighed this morning and I was at 163.5. Hopefully, I can back down to 159 quickly. I'm a little frustrated because I did really well during exams, but messed up when I was visiting family for 3 weeks. Anyway, I'm back and ready to take my weight loss seriously again!

I'm still here.
Had a decent but not great weekend in terms of eating.
Yesterday was good, but Sat not so great.
I'm a tiny bit better off than when I started, so I'll take it.
I've promised myself a haircut next weekend if I can make it through the week with a loss, or at least without any bad days.
My definition of bad day being one where I give up on plan during a meal/snack and decide I can just start again fresh tomorrow.

Good evening ladies!

Just a quick check in. I'm so happy to report that I accomplished my first goal of 2006. I wanted to get back to my lowest weight I saw on the scale last year and that was 172.5 pounds. I actually saw 172 on the scale this morning! Woohoo!! I won't be claiming it though. I'm taking the average of my weight for the month and only changing my stats officially once per month because the fluxuations are so un-nevering. But I'm one happy Beacher!!! I am also fitting better and better everyday in my "goal" jeans. I'm evening thinking of going for a size 8 but I've got some body image "issues" I'm trying resolve before I decide to change my goal size yet again.

Stephanie - I must have missed something over the past few days. Weren't you doing WW? When did you switch back to Atkins? Sorry I'm so far behind in what's going on with you. I want to make sure I stay up-to-date though. I did my measurements the other day and couldn't believe that my waist meausures 30 inches. I don't think I've ever had a 30 inche waist! My biggest problem now is the back fat and tummy flab above my waist. My waist is getting so small that all the flab from above and below is making me look funny. Sigh. I'm working on it and I know you'll fit back into those Levi's soon!

Chris - I know what you mean about portion sizes. Sometimes I feel like I could literally eat a horse. I'm trying to really focus on eating smaller portions, logging my food into fit day really helps.

Sheila - congrats on losing 1.8 pounds! You must feel great!! Keep up the great work!!!

anj - so glad to you have back girlie. You'll get back down to the 150's in no time!

Ally - it sounds like you're being really hard on yourself. Here's a hug sweetie :hug:
So glad to have you back. I define a bad day pretty much like you do. Here's to a "great" and "perfect" one day at a time, starting tomorrow for all of us!

Lisa, no you didn't miss anything. I can't do the processed foods and sugar on WW - I recently switched again.
