I need help please !:)
Shew..... this weekend has been more rough to eat healthy than during the week because I am so busy I dont have time to sit around and think about what "good things" I could eat lol...
I need help with a few things, I am doing phase 2 When you are having fruit, how many servings a day ? Fat servings ? Grain servings? Perhaps I have just passed this information up, but it seems I cant locate it. I keep wondering if I am eating too much ( 2 slices of bread yesterday and cereal for breakfast, but down a lb today !) When I use olive oil, is it necessary to meaure and keep it at a certain amount or so long as you are eating the healthier carbs and fat, no measurement necessary ? Thanks ![]()

Ok, I answered my questions by reading all stickies till I found it except for fat servings. Are those limited ?
Fruits are up to 3 servings and starches up to 3 servings, anyone wanna add anything ? |

I looked for the fat and couldn't find it either, but looking at the sample menus, it looks to me like two servings of unsaturated fat, they have one at lunch and one in the evening, plus the fat in the eggs for breakfast. I would say that would fall into the "see if one satisfies you and only have more if it doesn't" category. I hope someone else has a more definitive response.
I don't know if you were asking this part of the question, but when I went from phase one to two, the first week I added one fruit per day and the second week I added one whole grain per day, then the third week one more fruit. Once I added in a second whole grain per day, my weightloss stalled and didn't start up again till I cut back to one grain and two fruits. But that is just me. Melissa P. eta: I started out with fruit b/c that is what I was missing the most, it was summer and they were really calling out to me when I was at the store, LOL.
