Yippee! It's the weekend!

Rain woke me at 4:00 am, so I've been up browsing through catalogs...my OTHER weakness! At least they have no carbs, calories & fat!!!

I think I am going to be able to spend the day doing anything (or nothing) I want! No plans except grocery shopping. We have DH's Holiday Party tonight. Dinner & dancing. Should be fun. Not worried about the meal. I ordered salmon. I'll eat the salad & salmon, skip the bread & dessert. If I'm lucky, they'll have some kind of legal veggies. If not, I have enough. I figure anything like sugar in the salad dressing or salmon glaze can be offset by dancing!

Still on track, we'll see what the scale has to say tomorrow!

Here's to "One Perfect Day"!

Hi guys ! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. Its snowing here, but not too bad. I have intentions of doing mostly nothing today too Chris lol.... thats what wkends are for !!
Went to the gym yesterday and was weighed, down 1.4 lbs.... not really what I was expecting, but at least its something right ? Today only makes day # 6, so I wont start freaking out yet lol...

Oh my isn't it wonderful not to panic when events happen in your life. That is what I like best about this way of life eating. We are getting some rain here as well and my day will be to stay inside and if I get energic I'll use my treadmill in the garage with some headphones on.

We had a nice day trip yesterday and boy did I need it! We went to an indian casino about an hour away from where we live and just had fun playing video games. They had a real nice place to eat so we had our dinner before we headed back.

Good job on the pounds down, Lisa! Just think, they are gone forever! Here's for a perfect day and also a no late night snack party with yourself! I said that last part for myself to hear!

Lol sharon.... sometimes it helps to "talk" to ourselves Glad you had a nice trip, those indian casinos are fun ! We went to one in NC. Hope your day is relaxing, and you have motivated me to hope on the elliptical today.

Hi Beachers! I was talking to my mom on the phone last night and she said, "why don't you just do Atkins?" I started to realize that I've never done a clean induction, so today is day #1. I've changed so much over the past several months, but am making a real commitment. While I know South Beach works, I want to do Atkins for at least a few months. I did it for a week a few months ago and lost three pounds in one week.

I'm still going to post here daily - I just need to do what will work for me.

Thank you, Sharon. It seems that since I went downhill with Weight Watchers three years ago, I've been flailing around. I do know that my body tolerates lower carb than it does processed foods. I will still post here daily as I you all.

So are you guys doing minni challenges.. I would like to join.. I am in one Thread for this but would like to be in two.. And I am eating more Scaresdate South beach style so this might be the best place for me.
