Exercise Challenge for the week of January 9-15

Good afternoon everyone!

I just got back from boot camp class. It was so hard!!!! I am sore all over and have bruises on my hands from all planks we did on the step. Yikes! I do feel so good though. It's like waking my body up after a long winter's sleep. I was supposed to go to weight lifting class but I got shut out as it was all full by the time I got to the gym. I'm so glad because boot camp was just what I needed. That class kicked my booty and I needed it to get back in the swing of things. I'll be in my goal jeans in no time with classes like this!

What have you done today to make YOU feel proud? (Shamelessly borrowed from The Biggest Loser theme song).

Hi Lisa, wow, sounds like you really had a bootcamp. You'll be in those jeans for sure!

Woohoo, I feel proud, I went to the gym and did 45 min of treadmill!

This afternoon I'll be attending a 45 minute Step class and an extreme abs class. I need to flatten my tummy so midrise goal jeans will fit!

What is on your agenda today to get your body moving?

I need to move more. No motivatin though. DIL sending me a taebo tape in two weeks. Can't wait to get it. Will try it, all I could do is fall over. HA! I love my Callan, and might do that later. I need to walk, but hunters are still around. Maybe I will go for my two mile walk today.
Have a great day all.
Sheila

Sheila - I hate when I don't feel motivated. I force myself to work out anyway but it's more fun when your mind and body work together!

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday but I went to a 45 minute weight lifting class. It was tough but fun. Today's class was Step & Sculpt but there was very little step about this class! It was really like a slightly less boot camp class. Every person in that room was dripping with sweat when the class was over. I used 2 risers last week and thought I would need an ambulance to carry me out. This week I wised up and used 1 riser but I was able to do the moves bigger and more intense. I liked that much better. It still killed me but I only feel like I need a walker and not an ambulance .

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great Thursday and that we all get an opportunity to move our bodies in a meaningful way today!

Well I do my Callan three times a week, but I mean I need to move more than that! Like today, was going to walk, but too late when I got home. So instead of walking and Callan, it will be Callan only. Maybe tomorrow I can do my walk ... One riser? Thats good...watched some people doing the step on tv, I said to myself, self, you would not even be able to do the routine...LOL but it was fun to watch!

I did a 30 minute work out at the gym called "on the ball". It was weight lifting on a stability ball. It was a comical and fun class and a nice way to end the work week.
