*♥*TGIF Check In - Jan. 6*♥*

Happy Friday Beachers!

I am pleased to report that I had one perfect day yesterday, and it was really good to feel in control! I am working on those portion sizes too!

Now, I need to get busy with my exercise & focus on the rest of my "Kix in 2006" goals.

I noticed when I logged in during the afternoon yesterday that there were 35 people viewing the SB threads! I expect we will see even more new Beachers as January progresses. The more the merrier, right?

Hope you all have a great day! I am so thankful for each of you! Having these friendships makes this journey much easier for me!

"HI" to all who follow!

Hi Chris and all the other beautiful Beach babes!

Chris - you are so right that this journey is made easier by having all of us here together. I get so much strength from you ladies. No matter if we are struggling or sailing along, the energy on this forum is just so encouraging! It may take me a lot longer than I thought to get to goal but you all make it so much bearable! Congrats Chris on one perfect day! I have a string of 11 perfect days going for me and you are right, it feels so good to be in control.

I am just so upset with myself this morning. I left my work out shoes at home and now I can't go to the gym at lunchtime. I feel like there is such a whole in my day now. I am tempted to have my son bring down my tennis shoes to the office since he's on winter break this week but I'll just work out at home tonight. It stinks though. I was really looking forward to today's work out. Oh well.

Besides that, things are going well. I have been having my evening snack (dessert) right before bed and I wonder if that is keeping the scale from moving more rapidly. It's only a 60-100 calorie snack like fruit or a pudding cup and it helps me to get through the night, I hate going to bed hungry but I'm going to eat my evening snack earlier in the evening and see if that helps. I was tempted to try on my goal jeans but it's only been a few days and I don't want to be disappointed so I'll wait a few more days and get a few more gym workouts under my belt before trying them on again.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday!

Good Morning Everyone!
I had a 100% OP day yesterday and plan on having another one today. I'm weighing in tomorrow at my local WW center and get back into the swing. I just had my two soft-boiled eggs for breakfast and I am so full. No matter what plan I do, I know that eggs are the way to go!

I've been exercising five days a week too...I did my 2-mile Walk Away The Pounds last night. I really enjoy Leslie's workouts. BBL.

Hi there. Just an FYI - those flaxseed muffins I mentioned in the Jan. 3rd thread are not hindering my loss (I've lost 7.5 since Monday). I just have one a day with breakfast. I keep them individually frozen, because I don't know if I could stop at just one if I just kept them in the fridge! I take one out every night, along with a frozen portion of spinach quiche, and take them to work the next day for breakfast. I did post the recipe in that thread, if you're interested. There is nothing in them, that isn't on the Phase 1 list, so I guess they must be OK for Phase 1! lol.

Stephanie - sounds like you're doing just fine! I'm a big egg lover too. They really fill you up. I'll have them as a treat on the weekends. Let us know how your weigh in goes.

Jeffy - I was hoping someone would get back to you about the flaxseed muffins. They sound yummy. I'm glad they are not stalling you out. I think that's what it is all about on these boards, finding what works for you and sticking with it!

Good morning

Well I was told that I wasnt eating enough calories, so I upped them yesterday, and it was either that, or the saurkraut, but whatever, I gained 2.8 pounds overnight. I COULD SCREAM. I posted menue yesterday. Back to the old drawing board again.

I did notice that what is on the list for phase 1, is not in the menu section of the book for phase 1. Was trying to follow the menues to my best, but yesterday, added ff yogurt for snack, and 1/2 c lima beans with supper. So I do not know. Just upset at the moment. I will get over it.

Have a great day y'all.

Sheila

raptureready - how many days did you do the increase? What did you increase them to? Where were they before? It would take days to put on 2.8 pounds (7000 calories) unless you upped your calories a lot. It probably is the saurkraut.

I'm doing okay here. I've been off plan the last couple of weeks and just watching my calories, but I just got home last night from Seattle. I may be up a couple of pounds since 12/22, but it's hard to say because I'm about to get TOM.

I've really been struggling this week. I had every intention of getting back on track on Monday, then it became Tuesday. Several days I would eat really good meals, and then eat bad snacks or drink sugar-laden coffees. I've had a sinus infection, which is almost gone, that really had me feeling bad. Starting back to work this week was hard after a 2 1/2 week vacation (I know, poor me!) I promise to get my rear in gear starting Sunday, if not tomorrow.
