*♥*Friday Check In - Dec. 30♥*
Good Morning Everyone! So glad to be back, and to have a working computer!
I am fine. Back to eating Phase 1 style mostly. I had a couple of days where I was way off plan. I am afraid to step on the scale! But, I will weigh in as normal on Sunday morning, and take whatever the scale says and just go right back to what has been working so well for me! Christmas was great, but I am glad that it is over... Here's to one perfect day for us all! |

Good Morning Chris and everyone else who follows. I'm going into day #4 of my new job and it's a breeze. Being a construction company, they're slow all year - except summer. If they want to pay me for doing next to nothing, that's fine with me.
I'm on Phase 1, but am doing a re-start since I've been getting carried away with nuts. I have a dry erase board and when I want to temporarily cut something out of my eating plan, I write on the board the last time I had it. I haven't had any chewing gum since 12/6/05 because I get too carried away and will do the same with the nuts. My weigh-in is tomorrow morning and since this week was TOM, I'm not expecting any miracles! Have a great day everyone! ![]()

Good morning to all the Beach Babes out there!
I'm so glad today is Friday and our office surprised us with an announcement that we are closing at 3:00 today. Yippee! I was hoping they would let us out a little early so this is a nice surprise. I am so happy with the scale right now. Sick, I know. I hate that I let the number on the scale dictate whether I'm in a good mood or not some days. I'm actually 3 pounds down from where I was this time last week. I won't count anything until official weigh in on Sunday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, nope let me rephrase that, I'm going to do what I need to do to make sure this weight sticks and if another pound or two would like to go away by Sunday, I wouldn't be upset at all! The drop in my weight is proof positive for me that I have to watch my calories. My goal is to keep my intake between 1200 and 1700 calories per day. I think I was eating something like 2200 to 2500 before so my goal is a modest 1 pound lost per week. I hope to be at my goal (size 8 jeans) and around 160 pounds before my Disney vacation in mid-June. Today is the last day the classes are closed at the gym. Thank goodness! I almost couldn't stand it having to find stuff at the gym on my own to do although I do like running on the treadmill but enjoy the classes so much more. Chris - glad to have you back with us. We've been missing you!!! You are so brave to do Phase 1. I would if I felt I had to but I'm not that disciplined, I don't think. I hope all is well with you and that the scale will be kind to you. Stephanie - it sounds like you are doing really well with phase 1. I know what you mean about too much of a good thing. I can go crazy with the nuts too. I just keep telling myself that an ounce of cashews has almost 200 calories, so I have to be careful. I hope your weigh in goes well. Here's to one perfect Friday, ladies. I hope we all do our best despite what today may bring. ![]()

Hi,
I weighed myself on my sister's scale and I was under 160. It's not a digital scale, but I think it was about 159. I'm happy because this scale showed me a little heavier than my own the day after I got here. So, I think I might actually be below 159 on my scale. It's wierd to be in the 150s. It's great though! I've been exercising a lot so I think that it has made up for some of the extra food that I've been eating. |

Way to go Anj!! That's great!
I haven't done too much damage during this last week. I have gained a few pounds, but I am sure some of it is water. I'll go back to P1 or P1.5 on monday . For those of you going back to P1, are you going to do it a full two weeks or what? |
