Cabbage soup recipe?
I'm not planning on doing the diet...I just want a recipe for some really good cabbage soup. I remember a little chinese restaurant Rich and I used to go to in El Paso and they had AWESOME cabbage soup. I wish I knew how to make it because I've been craving it. I have looked up recipes online, but nothing looks very appealing. Anybody here have a good recipe for it that I could try out? I'm wanting a recipe that somebody actually knows is good. TIA!

Do you think this one might work?
In a non-stick pan, saute about 2 C. shredded cabbage and 2 finely cut green onions in 1-2 T. ROASTED sesame oil just until bright green. Add to 4 C. rich vegetable stock (or chicken stock) and 2 tsp. soy sauce. Simmer just a few minutes, then add 1 T. mirin and a few DROPS of hot chinese chili oil. |
