I see everything as points

In the "Good Fats Good Carb Guide" is says to "Avoid" gravy (except Au jus) in P1. Gravy is to be used "Very Limited" (once every 2-3 months) in P2. These are regular gravies......not sure if the FF versions are allowed. Cranberries are a P2 food.
Do the meatballs have breadcrumbs?......if so, it's a no-no in P1 |

I should have noted this was a limited phase 2 recipe but it's perfect for a limited use holiday appetizer recipe.
Should anyone want to check their gravy mixes.....small amounts of cornstarch or arrowroot are okay in all phases. Gravies can easily be made with broth and a little cornstarch. Member Question: Is using cornstarch as a thickener all right? Dr. Agatston: Cornstarch is okay in very small amounts for all phases. Reg, is right in that the meatballs could be made legal phase 1 if they don't have breadcrumbs and the cranberry sauce makes it phase 2. I do see that this recipe could easily be adapted for phase 2 by using whole wheat breadcrumbs. Hope this helps. |

Thanks, for the welcome. I have been a lurker on this site for over a year, usually over at the century club. I used to do atkins, went off about this time last year and never made it back. I am enjoying sb and feel better about my choice. I have lost 10 lbs in two days (water weight) but I still feel better. I need to lose ALOT of weight.
