*♥*Friday Check In - Nov. 25*♥*
Good Morning to you All!
I had a very nice Thanksgiving! I was soooo tired when it was all over, but I enjoyed every minute of it! Only drawback is I still have some pots and pans to wash this morning... I ate small portions of everything, even the mashed potatoes & gravy. I made everything else Beach-style and everyone raved about it! I skipped the pumpkin & apple pie, because I simply did'nt want it! By my gauge, my fasting blood sugar (107 this morning), the day was a success for me. This is the first holiday meal in many years where I ate without guilt, didn't feel stuffed and bloated when I was finished, and actually ate real, delicious food which I enjoyed so much! I LOVE SOUTH BEACH! Have a great Friday y'all! "Hi" to all who follow!

Good morning to all!
Chris, your Thanksgiving sounds like a success for you! Congrats! Mine went fine, I had snacks/appetizers Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving dinner and my brother and gf will be in for lunch today for my 3rd meal. I'm excited he's coming so it's worth it. All meals being traditional but I was pleased that my serving sizes were small and in control. Hope everyone has a good one, I'm off to finish up preparing another one! Marva |

Hi girls! Sounds like you guys did really well on turkey day. Mine was carb loaded but i did the small portions as well. Im sure my scale has been hugely affected today but im not stepping on it and just moving on today
Gotta get this weight off for my breast reduction next month Very exciting! We're heading to Pheonix for the weekend. Scored tickets to the jacksonville/cardinals game (Jim is a huge Jax fan) and we're staying at the Legacy Golf Resort. Should be a really nice family trip. We have never taken one..we usually always go to visit family Im excited!Check in later! Stacy

Thanksgiving was a real nice day for us. For me I focused more on family and good conversation then the food being served. My son's gf. had SB friendly foods for me to eat and I was very happy and satisfied. I still have late night eating controlled and working on that a day at a time getting stronger daily. I weighed this morning and still moving down the scale by ounces. Yah! I'm the turtle that is going to win this race!
Have a great Black Friday. There were people lining up before sunrise this morning with money in there hot little hands ready to do some heavy duty Christmas shopping! ![]()
