Weekend Exercise Thread for November 11-13

Good Friday morning everyone!

I don't have much time to post (as usual) but I wanted to get the weekend exercise thread up and running. You have inspired me so much to keep with my program especially on days when I just don't feel like it.

Today I am doing a 30 minute weight lifting class around noon followed by an extreme abs class. Saturday is my official rest day but I've been slacking a bit this week so I need to do at least a 30 minute routine so I'll probably get in a 7 or 8 mile bike ride. Sunday I will do a 50-60 minute work out cardio and weight lifting video.

What is everyone else's plan for exercise this weekend! Share, share, we wanna know!

Thanks Lisa for keeping us moving!

I've been as busy as a church mouse. I did enjoy my yoga class last night, I'm feeling a few muscles I didn't know i had. It isn't a fat burner but I do think I'll benefit from the stretches by gaining core strength and the mind over matter aspect of it.

This week was pretty lax for me. I have had some toe and knee problems so couldn't do what I wanted. Hopefully next week will be better.

Good for you Marva on the yoga. That is a nice way to build muscle control. Good luck with that. It sounds like fun.

Thanks Sharon. It was really neat. Hope your knees get to feeling better.
I got a really good workout today with the strength building machines at the gym, it's been a while since I've done that.

I ran 3.25 miles @ 5.5 m/h, walked 1 @ 3.5 m/h yesterday.

5.5 is the fastest I've gone yet, so I'm pretty happy.
