Hi Everyone,
Wow, what a day Monday was. First of all, I talked to my boss and told her I've been stressed out and burnt out. Her response: "I know, I can tell." WTH? That is a response I hadn't expected, but then again my attitude hasn't changed either. I think I am going to make the most of my job, because I really don't want to go anywhere else. I don't think I am going to find the benefits and bonuses I get there. I do have a great boss and think my attitude has rubbed off on her. I've been on two interviews and think I am just running from my issues at work instead of facing them. Things will be changing and this Friday my boss finds out about the assistants being phased out. I think I have a fear of not being able to do it all and I don't think anyone expects me to.

On another note, since I've been so stressed out, I pulled a muscle in my lower back this morning and went to work anyway. My husband insisted I go to the ER, so we did and I was give medical leave for three days. I have Thursday and Friday off so I get the whole week off. My husband called my boss because I was a little out of it with all the meds and she is concerned about me. She said she didn't need my doctor's note, but I scanned and e-mailed it to her anyway. Have a great one everyone!

Morning everyone !

I had a perfect day yesterday and got in a good workout. Had a little time to relax, too.
I was tempted by Oreos and Potato Chips at a friend's house last night, but passed. This morning, I passed up what I am sure was a delicious cheese biscuit. I have nothing to do tonight. I am so excited about going home after my workout and just relaxing.

Haven't checked in for a while...been pretty good, haven't really lost anything since I've been on phase II...I have chicken caesar for lunch today and tonight I'm planning some brocoli and salmon...

Hello Chris...

Steph..sorry to hear of your pulled muscle..that sucks, hope it gets better.

Hello Marva...

Pir8luvr...sounds like your doing great not giving in to those snacks...I wish I didn't give in to the japeleno poppers and nachos last night while watching the hockey game...

Hi All
Stephanie, good to hear about your job, sorry to hear about your back. Hope you feel better.

I am into phase ll but only adding fruit one time a day for a week to see how it goes. So far so good. Slight loss but not posting until Thurs.

Hi to Chris, Marva, Pirr8 and Jillieb. And to all who follow. Have a great stress free, cheat free day.

Here

and I've gained again (highest weight in a long time). But....I've been trying VERY HARD TODAY:

2 scrambled eggs (DD#2 ate 1/3)
1 1/2 sausage patties (DD#2 ate the whole one)
1 South Beach Meal Replacement Bar instead of my normal bad a.m. snack.
Chicken Salad (no bread) 3/4 C
Brussel Sprouts

Now for an additional snack I have some dried fruit - yes, there is sugar but no fat so since on SB we try to go low carb and low fat I picked the dried fruit with lowest carbs, highest fiber and no fat....how does that work for some of you?

Hi Renee

Although dried fruit is on the list of approved foods, it throws me for a loop every time if I eat it by itself or even with cheese or nut butter. What I can work with is a FEW raisins, dried cherries, or cranberries added to a salad or broccoli salad as part of a meal.

What fruit did you choose, and how does it work for you?

Hi, ladies! Still sticking in there, here. I plan on weighing myself every other week. It was hard to tell myself "no" this morning, but I did because I like seeing the bigger losses and want to focus more on my health than my weight. So I weigh exactly one week from today! It'll be right before our trip, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the scale has to say.
