I'm still hanging on... Eating only legal foods, but I have a sinus infection and I think that's what's holding the scale still
. I didn't make it to the store AGAIN last night because when I went to leave work last night our battery was dead. So I didn't get home till late, then I had to fix dinner for DD and get her to bed... But like I said, I'm only eating legal foods and if they aren't available, I just don't eat. But because of the sinus thing and post-nasal drip, I'm not very hungry anyway because nothing has falvor. Although, I have been drinking cups of caffine-free herbal lemon tea with splenda, which is nice. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a good FRIDAY!!

Happy Friday everyone!
Only time for a quick drive by. I'm so excited the scale seems to be moving down a bit more each and every week but I won't get too excited until official weigh in day on Sunday. When I hit the 160's ladies, I'm going to throw one big happy dance virtual party on our forum and you'll all invited! Stay tuned! Ha, ha! Stephanie - thanks for getting us started. I'm so glad you are back with us and the program is working so well for you. Keep up the great work sweetie!! Mel - so sorry about your sinus problems. You are such a trouper to stick with program while not feeling well. Feel better soon! ![]() Have a great Friday one and all!

Morning Stephanie & Mel! Morning to all who follow!
I didn't get to check in at all yesterday! We have had 3 proposals due out this week and one had to go to Singapore by today. Which meant it had to get out last night, our time. I worked until about 9:30 pm and I am bushed! Today should be somewhat slower, I hope! I'm doing fine, but my FBS has been up a little this week. Still in the target range, but not at the low end. I am not eating any differently, so I'm wondering if stress might have someting to do with it?? I am definetly glad it is Friday! Have a great day everyone!

Hello
After a very stressful weekend last weekend with DFIL on his death bed - this weekend appears to be much more promising, with the exception of all of the candy that will be around the house. We do evening Trick or Treat at my brother's house on Saturday night - it's a blast - more for the adults with coffins being wheeled around and handing out free shots etc. Then Sunday Trick or Treat in my neighborhood. With three kids - that is a lot of candy! Maintaining but not looking at any sort of loss for the month - again. Month isn't over til Monday so we'll see. Renee |

Good morning everyone!
I am officially back and ready to begin. No more playing roulette with my weight and my health. I know it will be tough with the holidays coming up, but I keep reminding myself that if I want to be healthy and happy for future holidays then I'd better stop the nonsense. STEPHANIE: This WOL is great. I am glad that you are doing well. I can't wait to see my clothes loosening up. MEL: I am sorry to hear about your sinus infection and I pray that you are better soon. I get them sometimes so I know how dreadful they can be. You are doing an excellent job stay OP even though you are sick. LISA: You lean and mean thing you! You definitely SHOULD do the happy dance when you hit the 160s - that is a great accomplishment and I'm proud of you! CHRIS: Yeah, stress can do amazing things! Sounds like you worked your buttootie off. I hope things are going a bit slower for you today so that you can get a much needed break. MARVA: You know, as I was eating my breakfast today I was thinking to myself that I love this WOL and then I asked the million dollar question, "Why in the world did I ever leave it?" After reading your post, I started thinking that I need to keep reminding myself that I love this WOL on a daily basis AND stay at this board! SHEILA: Yes, down is soooo good! Congratulations to you! I will be joining you on the down path very soon! RENEE: I am terribly sorry to hear about your DFIL. Seeing someone through their last days is never, ever easy. My prayers and love go out to you and your loved ones. Right now I have an aunt who is very ill and unless she receives an organ transplant she won't make it. My uncle just had a kidney transplant and hopefully he will be okay. I hear you on the candy issue. We have a ton of it in the house at the moment. I took all of it and moved it to one corner and covered it with a sign that says "DO NOT TOUCH!" The sign is for me of course. BTW, Renee is my first name as well so I'll go by my one and only nickname "Rae"."Hello" to everyone that follows! Rae
