one more question
The beans, the ones you use the 1/3 to 1/2 c. daily. That is daily, right, not both with lunch and dinner? Sheila Thanks |

Sheila, I late getting to the forum tonight......The amount of powdered non-dairy creamer (such as powdered Coffee Mate) you may have, as shown in the Good Fats Good Carbs Guide, is just one teaspoon. The best choice for coffee is low-fat milk. Another good option is fat-free half-and-half with a limit of 2 tablespoons a day. Some brands contain hydrogenated oils and these are not SBD-friendly. SBD often recommends Land O' Lakes as it does not contain hydrogenated oils. I usually just use dry powdered milk, I wasn't too happy with the sugar content of the ff half and half. JMO. Tomatoes are fine in all phases. ETA, the beans may be eaten at either meal or both would be okay. Marva Last edited by justmarvi : 10-24-2005 at 08:09 PM. |

Thank you. After asking the question about coffee mate, I went and read the ingredients and saw corn syrup solids. I said to myself, DUH, no you can't have this, but you are allowed milk. I usually drink my tea, coffee plain. Once in a while I use milk. So my tblsp of fat free milk was ok. Thanks for all the other info too. Much appreciated.
