Even though the scale hasn't moved in a week (TOM is here), I had a good day yesterday. As I was leaving the gym yesterday a guy came up to me and said he had noticed me working out for the last month or so and that I was "getting it done" and to keep it up.

I tried putting ACV in my water and I could not drink more than a few ounces. But, I checked back here and realized that my ACV to water ratio was off. I might try again tonight.

I am sure hoping that when TOM is gone that the scale is going to go down.

Good morning ladies!

Things are going well with me. I got up early and using my new ipod attachment speakers, had a great upperbody weight lifting work out this morning. I love hearing my ipod music "out in the open" and not just when I'm plugged in. I felt kinda guilty spending $100 for this unit but I think it's so worth it!

At noon today I have a step class that's 45 minutes long. So I'm looking forward to that. My eating is right on target but I admit eating dinner earlier in the evening makes me hungry before bed so I usually save my dessert for right before bed.

Reg - you are right sweetie, it's one day at a time. That's all each of us can do. Keep up the great work, okay?

Pir - you're doing a wonderful job with all your work outs! Don't you just love it when someone notices all the work you're doing? I'm sure when TOM is gone, the scale will move and of course we can't forget that when you build muscle you may not see the results on the scale the way you'd like. Use an outfit that was tight as a better meter of your progress.

Hello

Saturday morning I hit 129.5. Saturday night I fell down the basement steps, landed in the hospital to get stitches and basically am not moving around well. Today I'm at 131.5. Oh well.

I did start walking the steps here at work on Friday but it'll be a while before I do that again since it hurts so much to do - not because I'm afraid.

Hi!

My first day went OK, not as good as I would have liked. I had a sinus headache which made me not feel like eating so all I had for lunch was 1 celery stick with some cottage cheese. Then my MIL, who's in town visiting, wanted Mexican for dinner. I ordered a fajita salad, but the chicken tasted like it was marinated in something sweet & there were tortilla slivers throughout. I ate around as much as I could, but tasted a couple of tortillas. I finally gave up and stopped eating. I also overdid it on the coffee. Today's a new day right?

Reg - for an onplan day!

Pir - What's ACV? on getting a compliment at the gym. That would totally make my day.

zeraspride - Of course you're worth $100!

Renee - Ouch! I hope you feel better.

Jennifer - ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar. Some people have been drinking it in their water and losing a pound a day! I put way too much in mine and I couldn't drink it all.

My Davinci syrups came last week. I love them! It's so nice to be able to make Starbucks-like coffee at home (and so much cheaper!). Anyway, I used the raspberry to flavor some plain, non-fat yogurt. I also used one packet of Splenda (for 16 oz of yogurt). It is really good! It actually tastes better than the low sugar yogurt I had been buying. Closer to the holidays I am going to try Eggnog yogurt .

For you Cheesecake lovers, Jello now has SF Cheesecake jello. Yay.

Hi everyone! Didn't post yesterday was so busy! Been doing great, I got my 120 oz of water in yesterday and have totally stayed on plan. Tomorrow is weigh in day for me and I am a little nervous. I really hope I see a drop, but seeing other peoples stats after losing the first few weeks sometimes you don't see one for a week... On a good note people are noticing so ... I am just going to hang in there! Good luck everyone! Have a great day!

Pir8luvr, doesn't it make you feel good to hear that someone's seeing you make an extra effort and doing good! It's really motivating, keep on keeping on! That cheesecake jello pudding is awesome in yogurt. I've read that it's good to start out with 1 tsp acv in your water, all this is new to me too.

Lisa, I read about that speaker attachment, sounds neat. I don't have an ipod, wonder if Santa does?

Renee, gosh, hope you're okay, be sure and take care of yourself.

Jennifer, hope you're feeling better. Sorry the meal with mil didn't go just right but as Reg says, today's another day, let's shoot for a one perfect one! I forgot to reply about your menu yesterday, but it looked great! Love your avator!

I can help you with that one Reg. I've been drinking my water with acv and have great results. Start out with 2 teas. of raw organic apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water at meal time twice a day. It sure helps with control in cravings and portion control. I've lost close to 8 pounds now and loving the feeling of more energy.

Hi all -

Things are going pretty well for me. Friday and Saturday were awful...binge on icecream and pizza rolls. Sunday I started SBP1 (but with fruit) and I have been doing pretty good for the last couple of days.
