Celery?

Do you cut up the whole thing? (is it called a......stalk?) or cut as you go?

If you cut up the whole thing how do you store it so it stays ??

I love my salad spinner and I'm wondering if I should invest in the mini one for celery.

I'm not a big celery fan, but it helps me get thru the day with Laughing Cow and Peanut Butter (yes, I am weird.)

No, you're not weird!! I eat celery too and use it for snacks with hummus. or peanut butter. I love hummus!!

I cut it up into thirds and store it in a baggie in my vegetable drawer. It actually keeps better when I don't cut it up first. But I do like the convenience of grabbing it out of the bag.

I love celery! It has good fiber in it and healthy for you! You can dip it in your salad dressings too and do that with green onions and mushrooms and munch. Hey, better than what I used to do and munch on Cheeto's! LOL!

I cut only the bottom off the celery, and leave it in its original bag. That way I can pull one long stalk out, cut it in thirds, and stick it in my lunch. Its easier than not cutting, but only the end gets dried out, if anything.

It will stay fresh longer if you neither cut it or wash it. That being said, it IS more conveniet for a snack if you clean and cut it and have it ready...

You might try pulling off one or two stalks from the bunch, then just cutting those. One of the plastic bag companies, either Glad or Hefty has bags that are supposed to keep veggies fresh. QVC had a set too. I use my specially designed containers from one of the kitchen item "direct sales" companies. I haven't tried the others, but I kept swiss chard for 6 weeks and broccoli for 4 weeks!
