Wine in phase 2 good idea or not?

Just wondering because I love a glass of dry red wine with dinner, besides its good for our heart! I was wondering if anyone else has wine a couple times a week and if you have still lost consistently? Please say yesssssssss!

I always had a glass of wine even in induction when I first started with atkins. It did not stop me from losing weight. However, you burn the alcohol first, before the fat. Some it will stall them. If you see that it is stalling your weight then back off of it for awhile and then try again and see. Everyone is different. You are right, it is good for the heart. Even in the hospital and just had the heart cath. done and asked the cardiologist if I could have a glass of wine with dinner that night. He said yes, good for the heart. More of the red wine than the white.

Great thanks for the reply! Yes love the red especially merlot I only have had 3.5 oz glass for 2 days out of this last week so hopefully it didn't effect me much. As soon as TOM leaves and I get on the scale that should tell me something!
