Good morning! My cold is mostly over so it's back to the weights. Today is biceps/triceps. Lifting is my new passion. I can't believe I used to dread it and now I can't get enough of it. Today is a busy day and I need to get in the shower and head off. I just hate mornings.

Hi

I'm up to 132 - hit 130.5 on the weekend. Doing better on weekends lately, but it's also TOM and hoping my stress level is on the decline here at work. On the home front its a little different - but now I have some $$$ to pay someone to do some work around the house.
Saturday night we won $10,000 in our lottery.

Morning Beachers!

Beautiful day here in the California foothills! Might even get some showers. I'm looking forward to that!

Reg: Morning! And thanks for starting us off!

Melynda: Here's to your One Perfect Day! Hope the pup does ok at the vet.

Denise: Your are my idol! Weights, huh? I always thought I might give them a try someday! Any advice on starting a weight program? Do you need a trainer?

Marvi: Have fun (?) doing all your errands!

Renee: Congratulations!! That is awesome!

Morning Beautifuls

So, striving for one perfect day today. What i really need to do is go back to phase 1, and i have every intention of doing so, but i need to be home to do it...things get too stressful on the road..i can make "good" choices, but they're usually not phase 1 good LOL.

I tried the southbeach chicken ceasar wraps. they were pretty good, but i felt like i got too much fatty chicken in the group..which really grosses me out, but everything hit the spot

I cannot WAIT to get back to NM so i can go back to the gym..im dyin' here!!!

Hey, anyone know where i can get a really fancy dress for a bustier girl? The navy ball is coming up in October and i need to find something flattering...

Chris,
I actually started using a Kathy Smith video called Lifting Weights to Lose Weight. It's part of a timesaver series she has and I got great results with it. You do two different exercises for each muscle group and you really feel it. I've done that for a while but I wanted to expand so I started reading Body for Life and Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. I'm doing Body for Life and I will probably end up with BFFM after a while. I used to see trainers but with my medical problems they overworked me and I would end up in so much pain. I would highly reccomend the Kathy Smith video. She explains everything very well and it's great for someone who doesn't know much about lifting.

Afternoon girls !!

It's been pretty busy here......trying to make good choices while running around. I'm a big fan of planning ahead. Yesterday I had at least 4 servings of OP bread.....I gotta stop that.

Today I am going to hold out on the bread til dinner time, if I have any at all. Still can't find that SF bread....been all over.

Is it better to have 100% WW sweetned with honey or molassas as opposed to sugar or corn syrup?

Stacey! When we went to our last Marine Corps Ball in 2000, I got my dress off Ebay! You could check it out... Sometimes you can get a SUPER nice dress only worn once at a great price! Also jessicalondon.com and Chadwicks.com have nice stuff... Good luck! Those are so much fun. That's one of the things I really miss about the Military. Stay Safe...

Redqueen Great Day so far and Pup did so good at the vet...in spite of getting 4 shots! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Reg I am definately FAR from expert, but I would think honey or molasses would be better than sugar or corn syrup. lighter and more natural... Good luck in your search for that bread!

Today has been a VERY stressful day for me and to top it off the "curse" has came for a visit. I woke up at 4 am with a migrane should have know why!! Anyway I still have the stupid thing now... well it is down to a dull headache but come on!! Oh Eve I could strangle your little neck!!! Okay back to the SBD... I wanted to snack today I wonder why? I did stay safe but I ate more than usual.... especially peanuts! I have to do better in this area tomorrow. Wish me luck!
