Morning Reg! Thanks for getting us started!
Feel great this morning! Up at 4:30, after a good night's sleep. This is another thing that I have noticed about this woe. I am sleeping better! FBS was 110. Trying to get some "fun time" in on the 'puter before I log in for work! I am one of those lucky girls who is able to telelcommute every day! It is really a blessing! Hope to have One Perfect Day! Oh, and I get to add a small apple today! Ho and have a great day to all who follow!

Good Morning Ladies! Up and atem'! Well I am starting my 2nd week of phase 1 today and I weighed in.... I lost 10 lbs this week!!! I am hoping I will be able to get on my treadmill some, still trying to take an easy with my surgery and all. Anyway I am a happy camper today!

Tina: 10 pounds is TERRIFIC!!!! Kind of makes you want to stick with the program, doesn't it? Redqueen: 4:30??? What does that look like? One perfect day coming up; I'm planning for one too!All's well on my end - tickets go on sale today for my goal. (see below) Fingers crossed for good seats! (And just exactly WHERE is the fingers crossed smiley??? ) I lost two pounds this week, one "cheat" pound from the staff party last week, and my pound for the week! Hugs, Emily

Hello everyone!
Just checking in here before I am off to bed. Didn't totally stick to plan tonight (you can check me out in the menu thread) but I felt good because I didn't overindulge. I have been toying around lately with how many good carbs I can actually add back into my diet. I was up about a 1/2 pound from what I weighed in last Friday before work. Not sure why, but may have been from too many carbs yesterday and too many peanuts. I have been trying to be a bit more liberal and see if it affects me. I have decided that I am always going to do my official weigh in on Saturday mornings because that is when I originally started my plan and weighed in around 9:00 in the morning. I am really finding that the time difference between weighing in at 5:00 a.m. when I get up during the week and 9:00 am when I weigh myself on the weekend can make as much as 1.5 lbs of difference. Does anyone else notice this? Okay...enough on my deep train of thought Hope everyone had a great day!Lacy |

I read somewhere (maybe the SBD book) that the best time to weigh yourself is 9am. I have found that I have the same problem you do. When I weigh myself at 6:30, I usually weigh more than when I weigh myself around 8:30 or 9am. I am wondering if there is a corelation between this and the last time you ate the night before. I have a very busy schedule and sometimes have a snack, or even dinner, between 9:30 and 10pm, which I know is not optimal. |
