how did the weekend go??
hey everyone!
I know the weekends are always the hardest for me. I'm proud of myself though. I went to Vegas and i was a little worried about what i would do, but i managed to drink light beers and diet rum and cokes AND my most amazing accomplishment is that i didn't eat any carbs! Anyway, i just got back and i was thrilled with myself. Anyway, how was everyones elses weekend? Liz |

usdgirl: Good for You! It is always a challenge to stay on plan when you are away from home, bombarded by all food & drink, especially in LV!! Proud of you!My weekend was good. Had my Red Hat Tea on Saturday, planted some Iris in a new flower bed on Sunday...started reading a new book,, and of course spent time here! |

The weekend for me was fine. I did have to eat later than I would have like on both Sat and Sun but oh well.... I will do better this week! Congrats to you Liz for no carbs especially way from home. Chris I also started reading a new book. I finished one and started another both are from the same author Lynn Austin and they are centered around the Civil War.

My weekend was great. So far I've gone 10 cheat free days! Phase 2 is quickly approaching. I won't add too many more foods, but I am looking forward to some fruit. I love fruit and the fact that bananas have been added to Phase 2 since I did SB the first time, made my day.
RedQueen, I bought some purple and gold mums which I plan to plant on friday ![]() |

I've had my head in a book most of the weekend too. Mine is White Oleander and really a good one. It sure does help pass the time when you are reading. That has been my passion since my catarac surgery. I was blind in one eye before it was done the cause was from having diabetis 2. Now I can read again! Doing the happy dance here!
![]() Monday was another perfect day with food and exercise. More happy dancing!!! |
