A problem with my goal...

Hello Ladies! I have a small problem with my goal... As you can see from my signature, my first goal is to be in size 6 jeans by my first Neil Diamond concert on October 18th. The small problem comes in here - the concert was to be held in Biloxi, MS, and it has been cancelled due to the damage from Katrina.

So, I need a new goal! I still want to wear size 6's, but by WHEN???

October 4th is National Denim Day, as well as National Toot Your Flute Day (who thinks this stuff up

) so that could be a good goal date. It's a good bit closer than October 18th though... Do you think I can do it, and does it even seem logical?

Come join us in the Halloween challenge, be in a size 6 by then!

How close are you?

I'd take Marva's advice and change your goal to Halloween.....another few weeks is no biggie, right? Always better to reach a goal a little early than late.

Sometimes I fail if the pressure is too much. Like looking at my 175 goal.....I may have to change that. 26 more pounds in 4 months may be pushing it.

Well.... I could PROBABLY fit into a pair of 6's now, but I want to look good in them, not just manage to get them on!!!

I'm not much on not being able to breathe all day because my jeans are a wee bit snug...

I might just go for Halloween, although I hate to move a goal backwards! It's not quite two weeks later, right? And true, I can always hit goal early.

I just wish I didn't have to change it at all! I love his music, and I've been looking forward to this concert since early May when the tour dates were announced. Not to mention that I've never been to Biloxi, which I was looking forward to, and that we were planning to go to New Orleans while we were down that way, which I've never been to either! I hate to be fussing about something like this when there are people down there with no homes, or jobs, or much of anything... Although I guess part of the reason is because everything is all messed up down there - so much of the very things we were planning to see or do while we were there are either gone, or badly damaged. It's such a loss for the whole country really, and all because of one stupid hurricane!

Whatever you decide to do can't be wrong, congrats on the size 6, you're doing awesome!

Hang on now Marva, I'm not in them yet!!!

I haven't even bought any to see if they might, possibly, just maybe work...

Anyway, thanks for your support, but I don't have a problem anymore!!!! His website just announced a concert in Nashville, barely 1 1/2 hours from us, on October 17th, so all I have to do is move my goal up one day!
