Hello Beach Babes !! Welcome to my first Check In thread. I figure I would start us off with something to think about.

We honor ourselves and each other every day....by staying on plan, by spending some of our precious time together, sharing our accomplishments, offering support for those who have slipped. I wouldn't be able to bounce back from a cheat without you girls beside me. I thank those who I have met along the way who have become my cheerleaders. I really appreciate the support.

Looking forward to hearing from each and every one of you today.....either on your journey to One Perfect Day, increasing your water intake, sharing a new recipe or tip, or hearing about something special you have done today.

Together, we can do this !!

Morning Gals! Thanks Reg for starting us!

I went Chinese for lunch yesterday and had a few items that were, well, less than SBD. But, instead of binge eating the rest of the day (like I normally would), I stayed on plan and tried to redeeem the day. My morning FBS was 125, so that's better!

Today I have some challenges as I have 3 meetings today, one of them a brunch. I'm hoping to eat only legal foods and drink lots of water.

As usual, up early this morning...I love those sunrises!

Reg: That is a beautiful inspiration for this morning! Nice idea. I can't believe what a wonderful support group we have here!

Marvi: I am planning on One Perfect Day also. Seems more attainable when you focus on just today, doesn't it?

MtGirl: Good job on the FBS! I knew you could do it! And, great choice to jump right back on your plan after indulging a little! Hope all your meetings today don't present too many challenges!

Gotta go make up the guest room. My girlfriend and her DH are coming from Colorado for a couple of days! Fun, fun, fun!

Good morning ladies,

It so good to see our check in thread so busy! I had a really nice weekend but it did have some ups and downs emotionally. I'm so glad TOM is over. I think I'm going to stop weighing every day (didn't weight this morning Yay!). I was up about 3.5 pounds over my low weight and it just added to my anxiety but then I got on the scale Sunday morning and whoosh those 3.5 pounds were gone! This despite me stopping Phase 1 on Friday night. I just couldn't take it anymore. Now if I wouldn't have weighed everyday I wouldn't have had extra anxiety for nothing! Oh well, live and learn. I'm just glad my weight is back to normal, I'm so relieved. To think you are gaining weight on Phase 1 was just too much for me. I'm so happy to see that low number on the scale! Woohoo!!!

This week I'm going to concentrate on 4 things: (1) Not eating after 8:00 pm; (2) watching my calories and portion sizes; (3) working out everyday; and (4) not eating any whole grains in the evenings, except 2 days per week. We'll see if now that my weight is back to normal, if I can't get it to go down. My hope is to lose 2-5 pounds by the end of October. I'm also going to concentrate on a different part of my body for my workouts each week. This week is flabby ab attack! I am doing my jiggle free ab work out M-W-F with T and Th being cardio and Sat and Sun running. I'm on track with doing my jiggle free abs work out first thing this morning.

Reg - thanks for getting us started and giving us such a positive start to our Monday morning. I never truly thought of eating right and exercising as honoring my body but I guess that's what it is. I'm going to keep that thought with me today. I totally agree with you that I couldn't have lasted this long on this program without all the wonderful support and inspiration you all provide!

Marva - I'm right with you on planning for one perfect day today. The sun is shining and it's supposed to be about 85 degrees today. I'm going to get out there and enjoy the sunshine at lunchtime and count all my blessings! Have a great day sweetie!!!

Mountaingirl - I always admire your positive attitude. I have to let some of it rub off on me. It's been a rough past few days but I feel like the negative fog is lifting so I'm going to keep your example in mind!

Chris - you have a great day too! Enjoy your time with your friends from Colorado!

Just wanted to say a quick hi. It's going to be a busy day here so I probably won't have another chance to get on. Eating is till going great and so is the weight training. My muscles are recovering pretty well now and I keep stepping up in weight whch is a great feeling. Dh is really sick and I pray that the kids and I don't get it. Chances are we will but I'm staying hopeful. Have a great Monday!

I made the stuffed chicken yesterday (pg. 226, SBD cookbook)......gonna have it for dinner tonight. Hope it's good.
