Good snacks for car trip?
I'll be in the car about 10 hours this weekend. IF I have to have a snack what are some good options besides veges cuz I don't want something to have to keep cold I was something easy to just grab and snack on.
Thanks!!!!! |

I bought the mixed nuts from planters (they say reccommended by south beach right on them)..those were helpful..also string cheese was good in a small cooler. sugar free chocolate pudding (the pre-made ones)...i bought the low carb carnation good start...i dont konw how great they are but they worked in a pinch (i spent 32 hours in the car last week lol)... when i stopped i would get a wrap from subway.
Good luck and have a safe trip! |

String cheese sticks are good. They don't have to stay completely cold, but they do get a little weird if they get really hot. We almost always have a couple of sticks in our purses.
Pack nuts in single servings; we use the little snack bags, and put about an ounce (depending on the nut) into each bag. Hmmm... Everything else I can think of off the top of my head needs to stay fairly cold! I'll keep thinking, and ask Mom if she has any ideas. Hugs, Emily |
