*♥* WEEKEND Menus Aug 27-28 *♥*

Morning y'all!

Here's what was on my plate yesterday:

Phase 1.5

Water 1 1/2 quarts water

2 TB natural peanut butter

2 eggs
mixed sauteed veggies
1 ounce roasted turkey
1 ounce reduced fat co-jack cheese

2 cups organic baby romaine greens
3 ounces roasted turkey
1 TB Thousand Island dressing

16 ounces organic creamy broccoli soup made w/ soymilk

Stuffed Portabella (chicken, broth soy sauce and cheese)

Stuffed Portabella before bed

Here's mine for Saturday

Today's menu: Phase 2

Breakfast: hb eggs with 8 oz. nf yogurt with some wheatgerm and raw oatmeal mixed in
Snack:
Lunch: large garden salad with garbanzo beans, string cheese and tomatoes
Snack:
Dinner: salmon, summer squash, and sweet potato

No more eating after 7:30 PM.

B, 2 poached eggs, grape tomatoes
S, 1/2 c yogurt
L, chicken sausage hot link, slice whole grain bread, 3 veggie finger salad
S, another chicken sausage , 1/2 c yogurt, peanut butter
D, baked fish, coleslaw, green beans
S, 2 more T peanut butter

No eating after 7:30

Today- Saturday - okay refocused......phase 1
B, 2 poached eggs, grape tomatoes
S, homemade yogurt
D, grilled chicken breast, salad, OO
S, yogurt
D, lean roast, asparagus, salad with OO

No eating after 7:30

ok, I got the recipe from a post by purplelinny about making yogurt in a thermos, it sounded like fun.

I made yogurt in a thermos!

I found a neat 1.3 quart wide mouth thermos at Wal-Mart and it worked great. Check out her post and I'll email you the fat free recipe I found online. It is cheap, fun and delish! I make it with dry fat free milk. I would post the link where I got the recipe, but don't remember if there was advertising or not.

B: 1/2 cup Uncle Sam's cereal sprinkled with Splenda and cinnamon, 1/2 cup ff milk, 1 lf string cheese
L: 2 oz. turkey breast, 1 slice sara lee Whole-grain bread, small garden salad with hidden valley ranch light, 2 oz. baby swiss cheese, 1/2 cup cottage cheese
D: taco salad with beef, sour cream, salsa, cheese, lettuce

Yesterday's menu looked like this:

Phase 1.5

1 Advantage bar (YIKES! That was nasty! My first and last! )

1 Stuffed Portabello mushroom (stuffed with turkey, spianch and reduced fat cheese)

Organic baby romaine salad
2 ounces turkey
1 TB Ranch

Phase 2

B: omelet with green peppers, onions, and cheese, iced tea
L: ate a late breakfast, so no lunch
S: sugar free, fat free frozen yogurt - 10 cal. per oz. (I ate 7 oz.) topped with T. of chopped pecans - yum!!!
D: 20 blueberries, 1 cup zesty chili, 1 T ff sour cream, 1/2 cup cottage cheese
Dessert: 1/2 banana with natural peanut butter
