Hi everybody!
I'm still here - boy what a busy week. I haven't lost the two pounds I gained the other day yet :{ but I've been totally op since then, so I know it'll come off sooner or later. I really wish I had more time to post, do personals, and keep up, but I'm just taxed every day - it's go, go, go from seven am till midnight every day. I'm looking forward to the weekend and maybe a few more hours of sleep. Till then, hope everybody has a great Friday!!! |

Happy Friday!! Well, forget what I said about not being hungry, LOL! Yesterday, I was STARVING and nothing filled me up! So, I ate, but I ate on program, so I feel good about it. Bottom line, I really have to be guided by my body needs if this is going to be a lifetime way of eating. There will be days when I'll eat less, just because I'm not hungry, and other days where I'll eat more because I'm hungry! As long as I stick to the foods to eat, I think I'll be OK overall.I am happy with this program (and not counting anything) and hoping to stick with it for life!

Hey guys, I bet you were all thinking that I was just another one of those flighty girls who posts a couple times, then falls off the wagon? Well, you were partially right!
I did Phase I for a week and didn't lose a thing, was still hungry all the time and fighting cravings. So, I decided to go back on Atkins' Induction....I still follow your stories and am posting on the back to basics challenge thread....just don't want to be the black sheep here doing the strict old-school lc woe. I still plan on moving back to SBD for maintenance, as Phase II-III would be great for me for that!Keep up the great work and the positive attitudes! Ya'll are good people!! ![]()

Okay ladies this it it. I've come to the realization (Finally!) that the way I feel about myself and my body image is completely in my control!!! I don't like the way I look in a bathing suit? Well guess what, I can do something about it! I can take my lazy butt to the gym on a Friday night instead of sitting in front of the tv w/my DH! We can both go and make a date of it! I don't like the fact that I no longer fit in my favorite pair of jeans...well guess what? I can stop eating foods that are not on plan! I am sick of hearing myself moan and groan about how I feel fat, and how I've gained all this weight! It is in my control! The reason I got to where I am now is because I lost control of myself.Self, I am getting you back! I have a set date w/the gym on Mon., Wed., and Friday nights. Saturdays will be my "outdoor excerise" days. No more excuses!

Good Morning Ladies
Well, I haven't lost any weight but I haven't gained any either so I guess I'm doing okay. I have heard before that when switching from Atkins to SB that you might stay the same or even gain a pound or two initially so I'm okay with that. I have to admit I am enjoying the variety a whole lot more on this WOE and I seem to feel better overall. I'm going to just keep doing what I'm doing and see what happens in the next week. I'm going to Las Vegas for 3 nights.... leaving Sept. 6th and I do not want to get off plan!!!

Hi there, just as expected, I regained that pound I lost yesterday, but I have a new goal: Wedding on October 15th for my husbands cousin. Renee That, in itself, is not the motivation, its the SIL from H7LL will probably be there. She was my motivation in the first place back in December when I lost 20+ pounds. She just had #3 like I did and is almost 10 years younger than I am and they spout off all the time about eating healthy and exercising so I was going to be thinner and in better shape then her - AND BOY WAS I! I was 124 in March and since creeped back up to 131. I will hit the 124 again by October if not more, the 120 new weight goal. I was lifting weights for a while and stopped and will begin again. I will kick some major A$$ at that wedding. |

I'm not sure actually. I haven't really lost on either SB or Atkins. I may give South Beach another try. I've been giving it my all and even my husband is puzzled at my gaining.

I feel that the choices are better on South Beach and I really don't want to do Weight Watchers again when I feel so much better on South Beach. I had so much success before with it and I think I will just read the food plans again and follow the menus in the book.
I am a South Beacher and the food plans make so much sense to me. How many of you eat yogurt every day? I love plain yogurt, but just keep it to one serving (8 ounces) a day. However, maybe I should really limit it? I am also exercising four days a week, not having any diet soda, drinking lots of water and not eating or drinking anything after 6:30pm.

Hello Everyone~
Just checking in after getting home from work. TGIF is right!!! DH is going to a high school football game, so I get the evening to myself to rent some movies, catch up on scrapbooking, and just veg out. I might even get in a Walk Away the Pounds workout!! Checked the scale this morning after a clean day of phase 1 yesterday. Still no loss, so I decided to add back in my Uncle Sam's cereal this morning. I love that stuff!! Not sure what's for dinner. I had a McDonald's grilled chicken salad for lunch, so probably won't be ordering out. Hmmm...what to make ![]() Moonstruck~ It sounds like you're doing great with the no diet soda, working out and drinking lots of water. The not eating too late has really helped me out too just to tell myself no and to not get in the habit of eating when I am sitting in front of the TV that late just out of habit. That's great, you know points so, if you need portion control, you could use that.I'm restructuring with yogurt right now - we can have up to 2 cups lf-ff a day. We just have to kind of test our way around to see what works for us in the long haul of things. So if yogurt seems to be a problem, just back off from it even though it's P1. Maybe we need to give your dh the recipe for yogurt made in a thermos, it's awesome! I've made 2 batches of ff this week! Yah on the exercise, cola and water and especially the night eating but don't cut yourself short on that, set a reasonable time. Everything in reason. Hi all! Made it thru the first week of school, even avoided the Friday doughnuts. Came home with no dinner plan and ate what I fixed the kids
Oh well, not going to let that stop me. I feel better and better, and am not nearly as tired after school as I was last year. |
