Good morning....

Busy around the house as usual... DH still down with stomach flu, but not as bad as yesterday. According to his doctor, the stomach flu is going around SE Wisconsin like wildfire! I just don't want the kids getting sick!

Sticking to plan, working out on a regular basis (6-7 days a week) and drinking plenty of water.

Have a great day!

Morning to all!

I'm trying to do a catch up on yesterday's posts...

Reg on the 2 lb loss. You're doing great! Love your pic!

The info I posted last night about the olive serving size is in our Phase 1 food list sticky,

PHASE 1 FOOD LIST AND SAMPLE MENU

I just checked the GFGCG and it's on page 81 under Other Fats. The serving size he shows there is 8-12 according to the olive; how much oil to equate it to isn't listed but the food list is up-to-date so that serving size is good too. Enjoy and , helps all us learn more about program!

ReneeBW, sorry dh is still sick but glad he's better, kind of puts a damper on the homefront doesn't it. to staying on plan and exercise!

I'm still reading,

to all!

WoW, I just finished reading yesterday's check in posts!!! SBDers are doing awesome and having fun sharing!

Sugarbutt, glad you enjoyed adding in the strawberries! Yah to eating on plan, hope your trip to mil is fun, good idea taking the snacks!

Yah Steph on losing 2 lbs, that's especially awesome since you're doing the crossover! Glad Mathew is better!

Michelle, did rainman bring home any fish? We'd like to hear what recipe you use.

Hi to Renee and Reg again!

lowcarbmama, thanks, I love your nickname Rae! Sorry about you m/c, glad about the good new you're okay, awesome on the loss of 5 lbs! WoW, I'd also rent at those prices..

Dana, looking good in size 12 skirt and pants! This is so positive---i wanted to buy more but i have to pace myself because i dont plan on staying in any of these clothes for too long... they are just stopping off points to my goal weight.

Kathy, awesome on another perfect day......we've almost completed a week on P 1!!! Yah on the exercise and I'm in for what everyone wants to do about the chat......

Rae, I loved this motivation! Thanks!

On being overly critical of ourselves: Inner dialog is very important. Sometimes we may think or say statements to ourselves like, "I'm fat and disgusting" or "I'll never lose weight permanently" or even "I've messed up again, I'm worthless!" The next time our thoughts are headed in that direction, just think for a minute... if we said those types of things to our best friend, would we still have a best friend? Would that person appreciate those type of negative statements? Well, we are our own best friend and so we deserve the same support, love and concern that we would show our other friends
.

Penny, hope your day ended good and yah on the good day.

Hope all of our weekends are beachy!

I just looked, awesome,

, it's what keeps us doing program, you are a fantastic SBDer!

As I was looking through the original SBD book this morning about the olive question Reg and I were looking for the answer to, I had some thoughts on something I think would really help us.

I think I'll post a new thread on them when I get a few minutes, let me know what you guys think.

Off to fix dh lunch! Mine doesn't cook...

Great going Steph!
Dana, after tomorrow, I will have done P 1 a week, woo hoo, what a pretty bride you'll be, all tan and all!

Reg, I should have been at my goal too, let's do it this time!

Sharon, you've had a fantastic week, what 10 lbs? on the walking.

Let's all post this week's weight loss Monday, we should have a great tally....

I had a lazy fun afternoon, dh was gone and I just relaxed and then went to wally world. I have a purpose other than food.....I needed a visual....something to keep my motivation pumping....

I wanted to go there and see "myself,------ before-- now-- and future----". I found me "before my weight loss to date", a lady at the deli getting popcorn fried chicken.....another lady about my size getting yogurt, "now for me"---and a relatively average weight lady, about a size 10-12, in the produce department getting cucumbers, and she was how I want to look at goal, my near future...

After I had pushed my buggy around and seen "me" at the 3 sizes and what they were buying, I didn't have any problem buying only Phase 1 food items for next week! I just knew I want to do it!

Soooo, how many of us are doing one perfect days, how many are doing Phase 1 including the new members? We almost have a week completed, yah!

Sometimes I wonder what happens to the new members who come in for a day or so then we never hear from them, I hope they are doing good.

Have a good one!

Marva

Hi all, hope your weekend is going perfectly!
Rainman came home with flounder and croaker. I skipped the mayo on the slaw and made tartar sauce with dill pickles and onion to put onto the baked filets dusted with lemon pepper.
So glad to hear that the patients are doing better.

Morning Skinnies !! How is everyone today?

DS's, Kyle, fever broke last night.....it was weird.....only a 4 hour fever I have no idea what to make of it. I sent DH to block party #1 with DD, DS and I stayed home. He was feeling better later, so we all went to block party#2. I had a little bit of italian sausage and some veggies . I made the best decisions I could and I feel good about it. Obviously, I had none of my brownies, but they flew off the plate, so I'm guessing they were good. I came home to SF Jello and FF coolwhip

Today I had my first piece of "bread" in 2 weeks.....100% whole wheat pita from Trader Joes (hope everyone shops there )....with egg beaters, turkey bacon and FF cheese....coffee. YUM !! I am satisified.

Tomorrow the kids and I are going visiting in the evening for dinner at DH's Aunt/Uncle/Cousin's and I've volunteered to bring salad. They will be serving rotisserie chicken....no problem staying legal there. I had read the thread about a gal and her husband going to a dinner party and the hostess sounded a bit "difficult" about what to serve. I have yet to reply there.....but I will. I would hate for the guest to feel uncomfortable or make choices that she didnt want to make.

All I know is this......I am my own woman.....I can say "No". As long as I am nice about it "No thank you....your dessert looks great, but I'll just have coffee" I wont hurt anyone's feelings.

Today I am going to TJ's for a few items, the produce place for salad for tomorrow, relaxing at home with the family, then going to the beach to see Duran Duran......are there any children of the 80's that can relate? I was totally in love with Simon.

Have a great OP day ladies !!

Hopefully the pita bread wont make me crazy.....that's the only P2 item I will be having today.

Hope everyone is having a beachy Sunday.....

Emel, your fish sounds good!
Dana, I started out with 6 min too....I just did the leg tanner this year. Jergins has a new self tanner and moisturizer out that I like, it's in two shades, lighter and medium like.
Reg, glad you little son is feeling better. Sounds like you did good with the block party. Yah on the motivation.
Steph, glad you had fun at the movies!

My day is good and on target so far! Day 7 of one perfect day on program.

You all are doing so good! We sure are motivated huh . Feels good to have control back again doesn't it. Reg I just love TJ's. That's my first place to shop before any place else. I'm so glad that your little ones are getting better and your choices were good ones when you went out. That comes naturally for me now but I have been eating this way for a couple of years. This is truly a natural way of eating for me. I do need to take some vit. after reading the latest dish issue. That will be the next thing to check out when I head over to TJ's.

Have a nice Sunday and keep it beachy. It's time for lunch here in California and after having my morning walk with my little pardner I'm looking forward to some 3 bean salad.
