Hello from a Newish Member!

Hello Everyone!

I've been lurking for a while, and finally decided I should probably join in!
My mom and I have been on SB for a while now; we started last year, sort of fell off the wagon, and now we're back on course! We're basically on P1.5 now, moving toward P2. I've still got a ways to go according to the scale, but I'm in size 8 jeans, so I'm pretty happy with my progress. Current goal for me is to be in a size 6 by October 18th, when we go to Biloxi, MS to see Neil Diamond!

DianeKJ: We're vegetarians too! No yoga, but I'm a dancer! Does that count???

Oh, I don't remember who it was, but I saw someone a few days ago with "Waffles" on their breakfast menu. Could you tell me how you make those? Do you bake them on a waffle iron?

Hugs,
Emily Rose

Thanks ladies! I've been lurking on here for quite a while, and have gotten some wonderful tips! We tried the "Mock French Toast" this morning for breakfast- a very welcome break from eggs by now!

My apologies for my post showing up twice... I meant to hit preview while I was working on it, and hit submit instead!

I might sample the mock french toast this weekend. I have tried other mock things in the past and haven't been fond of them. I say the weekend, just in case I don't like it I can always have time to fix something else

Rose. I am also interested in the waffles. I have seen the recipe for the pancakes but not the waffles. That would be really great. Welcome once again. Everyone here is very nice and helpful.

Welcome Rose, glad to have you with us. I just doubled up a post too. The mock french toast is good isn't it. I love it as a change.

Welcome aboard Emily!

I found some OK Low carb waffels in my health food section of the grocery store, they weren't bad at all, they just didn't get crispy like Eggos. I just sprayed a little Can't Beilieve it's Not Butter on top and a tiny bit of Carey's sugar free syrup ( my favorite because it is nice and thick!)

Keep up the good work, it is a bit more of a challange not eating any meat, but it can be done. And I'd say YES the dancing counts!!
