Good morning beach babes!
Getting this up so if there's anyone out beachin' tonight, you can get change at checking in. It's good to see some of our members coming back from vacations, we're glad you had fun and welcome as always to our new members and those of you who remain faithful to the SBD and the forum. I see so many posters on the LCF board who are doing SBD and yet we seldom see them post here, I wish we could have a roll call and everyone just say hi. Wouldn't that be fun! Anyway, we're off to a new and better day, hope everyone gets a chance to check in with your share! Missed some of you today.... Good mornin' everyone ~
Role call?? HERE!!Hope everyone had a great day yesterday! I had a long, busy day yesterday with catching up at work. Then the tournament began last night for my women's softball team. I'm SLEEPY today! Really looking forward to the weekend - and it's only Tuesday! So I'm trying really hard to be 100% focused. I had a little too much sugar free chocolate last night and have been paying for it with tummy aches all night into this morning. Question - Do you think coffee can affect your weight loss progress in a bad way? I just started drinking coffee again after a long stent without it. Just wondered if it could hinder my progress. Have a great day everyone! |

Hello! I spent most of last night preparing food for the week, and treated myself to that "Peanut Butter Cup" recipe y'all posted...that was tasty!
The biggest hurdle I have to overcome is not eating like my husband! He is very much a bread/potato kind of guy...but I'm determined to feel better in my own skin! |

Morning ladies,
Karla, You and I were night owls, lol, I dozed off before getting the thread up and thought oh, chit, I see I even said change to post instead of chance as I meant to say. Thanks for getting us going! Traci- Softball sounds like fun! Yes, sf can definitely be a bummer with the sugar alcohols. First time offenses are the worst . About the coffee, it hasn't bothered me that I'm aware of but then a few cups is enough for me as I'm not an all day drinker; a decaf after dinner is sometimes good too. I think it's just about finding your balance as with everything else. I'm just thinking I can't give up everything. Sugar, sounds like your definitely off to a good start by getting prepared, ! Glad you're changing your focus from the breads/potatoes, I just prepare dh's meal pretty much like mine but fix him small servings of those items, I usually buy them frozen and that helps and a bpot is easy. I tend to not always put everyone else first like I used to, I'm putting me right up there among the top priority now and you know what, they survive just fine and dandy. Cheers to you!I'm feeling and doing great and very positive. I'm really mentally into the challenge and looking forward to getting to goal this time, no side-stepping or back-tracking is my goal! I think I've found what I can do for life .Hi to all who follow! |

Hey everyone - sorry I haven't been checking in as much lately...i feel a little guilty, because I started doing more Atkins-like things instead of SBD. It's still along the lines of P1, but i haven't moved forward. Anyway, still keeping up the workouts, and made a new committment to MORE water!!!

Hello, thanks Marva for inviting me to join in. This is my second day of SBD...I think I'm doing well, except I don't think I'm supposed to have ranch dressing and I did today...oops. What about meal replacement shakes and bars? Anyone have any opinion on these? They seem very convenient!

Hi Tracy, the dressing was fine...I'd hold off on the meal replacement shakes and bars at least for the first 2 weeks and then after that, most are suggested limited use but Dr. A gives the SBD ones a G in Phase 2 in beyond. Some use them and some do on occasion, some seldom. Good luck! Hope you like it here!

Hi everyone, it is great to hear about how all of you are doing! I am still in my rut of where I was after P1 but am still weight training a lot and so I am still blaming it on that
I am going to be out of town from tomorrow through Monday as we are going down to southern california. My fiance's parent's are throwing us an engagement party down there so my fiance and my parent's and I are making a little trip out of going down there and are stopping on the way and so forth. Anyway, have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend everyone. And ladies that are entering their pedometer steps into www.steptracker.com I am still keeping track and we are 8 miles away from reaching our first city in our trek across the country! Keep it up!
