Hey there, ladies! Report card day for my wee one today. Other than that, not much up here. It's beautiful, so I think the older one and I will have some together time this morning. Eating better again these days.

Good morning all,

Just getting my coffee ready right now...Looking forward to the weekend! My exercise time has to be a little rearranged though. DH has duty all weekend, so I won't be able to get into the gym until Sun eve. I am planning on doing my Tae Bo bootcamp and other assorted free weights at home. Last night my gym friend said that my face looks smaller. Who knows?

anadday: thanks for getting us started!!

barb: glad your eating is going well!

BBL....have a gret day everyone!

Sleepy.....got just three hours sleep but doing all right....Had to take one of my cats to the vet for neutering this morning. Going to have a small steak for breakfast, got a killer deal at Sams Club this morning....Hehe there are advantages to being up at the crack of dawn....not many though. I so prefer my night schedule.

Good morning everyone!

2 day countdown until my sister's baby shower. I am so stressed with the party planning and something that happened between me and DH last night that I almost didn't work out this morning but I keep telling myself that my work outs are for and about me, me, me so I'm not skipping it because I'm frustrated, mad or disappointed in the actions of other people.

ana - thanks for getting us started!

Barb - it sounds like you're in good spirits. That's good to hear!

rola - hey girlie! I love those types of compliments. I was told that the entire conture of my face has changed. That made me smile!

Darkfire - sounds like you need to get some sleep!

Hi to everyone that hasn't posted yet and I hope you all have a great Friday!

Hi everyone...well not to many people posed about my ooooops yesterday....... I went to mc Donalds and had the big mac, NO BREAD! I am only on phase 1 so i got nervous when i came home that i royaly messed up...Thought about it when i got home and realized i did not eat " low fat meat" I just don't want to mess up on phase 1, i know it works when you have a good combo of the right foods...not like atkins when you just have No carbs....
But everyone is right when they say the firdt few days are hard then it gets easier...i am not feeling very hungry at all~ I found a new omelet i like for breakfast and i am eating good dinners....But man I am cooking a lot~ For someone who hates to cook, I think i am doing pretty good!
Do any of you eat the frozen meals that are ok for phase 1, for lunch??? I bought a few, but only used 1...it was ok....
well have a great friday! I am off to work, then i am taking the kids to the circus tomorrow.

hey there everyone! i'm so glad the weekend is here!!

i am going to a wedding tonight, and i will stay strong and NOT have any cake or anything off plan!! it'll be tough,.. but i'm planning on eating a bunch before i leave home, so i am not even tempted at the reception!!!

i'm down to 312.7 today,.. and i am just itching to get my new tattoo,.. so i gotta stay on plan so i can get it soon!! (it's 2 rows of chinese calligraphy that means "Love Conquers All", probably gonna get it on my ankle)

jojobee: I am a newbie to this diet and i bet your right the first few days will be the hardest until we get this all figured out.

zeraspride: WTG on keeping on track with your workout. I so have been faithful to making sure i am getting enough exercise

Darkfire: I was up half the night too. My friends dh was up waiting to her from her dh who was on his way home on R&R from Iraq. So i was up talking to her cause she was so excited she wasn't able to sleep.

Good morning to everyone else who comes in after me.

I got a family reunion this weekend . guess what my food choices are brisket, german potatos, green beans ( they are having it catered) and desserts. Guess i may have to stop at the store before we go. I started my fist official day of SB today from Atkins.

Morning everyone. Today is going to be a busy day. We were supposed to go to strawberry fest but it's already in the 90's and is supposed to get up to 100 or higher so we decided not to go . Instead we're going to the mall with the kids since they have a nice indoor play area. This afternoon we're getting together with friends. Tomorrow my mom offered to watch the girls so dh and I are going out. I'm so excited.
I'm still on phase 2 with no cheats and I've been exercising every day. Yesterday I did 45 minutes at a 6 1/2% incline and I'm going to keep with that and hopfully in a few days I can go to a 7%. Well,dd is calling so I'll have to post later.

Good Morning gang, I see everybody is doing so well. I'm doing ok, I just feel like its not coming off soon enough. I weighed this morning and the scale said the same thing. I hope on Monday it will be different. I want to lose at least 3 more pounds.

Well gang I'll check back in a little bit. Take care.

Morning ladies! How is everyone doing? Hopefully well! Today is day 14 of P1 for me so we went last night to the store and bought some things for the beginning of P2. The strawberries are sitting in the refrigerator taunting me! I can't wait until tomorrow! We are going to a rehearsal dinner tonight and wedding tomorrow, we'll see how that goes! Anyway have a wonderful weekend ladies. You are great!

Good morning all. Well, good afternoon now I guess. I usualy just read. I thought I'd post today. Don't really know what to say though. Oh, I'm glad it's Friday! Yes. I'm on my way to pick up my Grandma. We are thinking about joining the church's gym. The membership is $5 for a lifetime. How can you beat that? They have classes (you pay a fee for those) and great cardio equipment. It's getting sooooooooo hot outside. I want Grandma to be able to continue walking, and be comfortable at the same time. Guess we'll go to some sales and thrift stores after that. She loves those. Kathymelts! Don't get discouraged. You may be losing inches. Also, remember (I know this sounds sooo cliche), it didn't take us a few weeks to put our weight on, and it will take a little while to take it off. I know I'm just glad when the scales is NOT moving up higher. Well, off to get Grandma. Everyone have a blessed afternoon!

Blessings,
Compassion

Compassion, I'm trying not to get discouraged. I know it took me a long time to gain this weight. I have 2 kids and after I had both of them the weight stayed on. I'm not giving up no matter what this time.

Hey all
kathy-- i do the same thing, i expect more from the scale... i have lost 14lbs on just over a month on SB, but i keep thinking it should be more... but then i have to remind myself that that averages to just under 4lbs a week, which is more than 1/2 lb a day... not too bad
compassion---yeah a $5 lifetime membership to use cardio equipt sounds great
watermelonmist---woohoo on 14 days, nice to know you can jump into phase 2 huh
denise--have fun on your night out with just your dh, congrats on staying on plan and eating clean
casweet and momme---good luck on eating clean at your wedding/reunion i know you can do it
jojo--no i dont think your mcd hamburger ruined your plan, like people said you didnt eat the fries or the bun. i tried one of the dinners for phase one and like you said it was "okay", it was the chicken and greenbeans one. i liked my own greenbeans and chicken better that the one in the package so i havent had anymore of them. i did eat 2 of the pizzas on phase 2, the chicken with roasted peppers and spinach is good, the crust taste really sweet at first though...have fun at the circus
zeraspride---way to stick to your workout... i need to start thinking like you and start exercising. good luck with your sisters babyshower
darkfire--- take a nap
rola--great compliment huh.. i was just talking about that to my friend today...she said she could tell i was losing weight... i said it is hard to tell on yourself especially in your own face.
barb---glad you are having better days

well i went a spent a bunch of money... goodies is having their big sale so i bought a bunch of clothes... i saw the cutes white dress... i am getting married in vegas in august and i dont want a "traditional" wedding gown, just a nice simple white dress. well goodies had a really cute one, but august is 2 months away and i dont know what size i will need then... so everyone cross fingers that the dress will still be there then
have a good day
Dana

anadday: it's definitely hardest to tell in yourself...because you're looking at yourself every day. That's why I started measuring/taking a 1st of the month picture so I could actually "see" progress. i just love before/during/after shots!!!

kathy: you're doing great...hang in there, and just know that you're losing at a good rate. All of a sudden next month you'll realize that those random 2-3lbs here and there have added up to 15lbs!

compassionate: hope you do the gym membership!! what a great deal!

watermelon: have fun with P2!!!

denise: keep up the great workouts...you're doing so well!

mom: stay strong with the reunion and all the other stuff going on as July 4th approaches!!

casweet: good luck with the wedding!!!!

zeraspride: i'm glad that you stuck to your workout despite other stuff..i hate the feeling of not doing something because i'm sad/angry/etc...then i just feel worse later. you're right, it's for YOU!!

jojobee:
just try to stick to the menu plans as outlined in the book..of course there might be some days where there are better options available than others...just hang in there!!!
