just wanted to say i had another milestone on SB, there were Krispy Kreme donuts at work last night, and for those who have never had one they are great---just melt in you mouth!!!--- well i survived the donut challenge and did not eat one. i did smell them several time so maybe i absorbed some of their bad carbs that way
hope everyone is having a great day

Good morning everyone ~

AllyKat - We're very glad you're back - looking forward to gettin' you back in the swing of things with us!

PomPom - AWESOME on the 135! I had that happen to me once on Atkins where I had some french fries one night and 2 days later I dropped a pound and a half. Good job though!! woooo!

Kathy - Yay on the 4 pounds! Keep it up girl! You're doing great!

Marvi - Don't worry about staying the same on the scale - staying the same is sooooo much better than seeing it move up. Hope you have a good trip and I hope everything settles down for you. Relax and have a wonderful time!

Zeraspride - Great job on staying at siggy weight - that's so great! Best of luck with getting ready for this baby shower! You're going to look and feel great! Hope you had a nice walk at lunch yesterday - mine was so relaxing. It's nice to just go out and be alone for a while, and know you're doing something good for your body at the same time!

U-Woman - Hi! Congrats on the 50 pound mark, that's amazing. Best of luck to you - keep up the great work!

Denise - How sweet - one month old! Do you have any pictures of your baby?

Rhundt - You can do this - just keep posting, stay accountable to yourself!

Jessica - We're on a roll girl! Here's to day 12 on the beach!!!

anadday - Congrats on sticking this out for a month! You're gonna do great! And way to go on skipping those donuts - KK are my weakness...

Rola - I'm so impressed with anyone who can just run like you. I have a hard time, but I've gotten myself up to being able to run a mile straight (when I make myself go to the gym that is...). Great job - you're so inspirational!!

Hi Natalie, Elisabeth, Barb & Penny! And hey hey to anyone I missed along the way!

I just got a stupid email here at work saying there are donuts in the kitchen for everyone - anadday, send me some strength! Actually, I don't even feel the slightest bit of temptation (although I haven't seen them yet, haha).

I'm staying off of it, but man my scale keeps staring at me funny in the morning. It wants me to step on it to check progress. I'm staying strong though - no scale-checking til Friday! (same to you Jessica!) I'm totally hoping to see the 140s by Friday - that would be so awesome.

Have a great day everyone...

Morning

Hi Everyone,

Other than a back injury preventing me from exercising, I'm in good spirits. I have a new revised menu which I'm going to stick to. I'm excited because this morning I weighed 152, now its down three pounds in a weeks, but thats great. I'm going to keep up the good work.

Good morning to all you lovely ladies out there. I HONESTLY could not do this everyday without you all. Sincerely!

Have a wonderful day!

Hi guys~ I am on my second day of phase 1...I take a thyroid pill in the mornings and I can't eat for about an hour..So it is off to drop the kids off at school then to work, then i eat breakfast! Thus~ breakfast is eaten on the go or when i get to work! Yesterday and today i brought 2 hard boiled eggs and 3 slices of canadian bacon and a cheese stick. I know this is going to get old! Any suggestions? Also I do not like the V8 is it That important that we drink it? We are going on vacation during the last few days of the phase 1, this is going to be hard for me...I know eating out won't be too bad..But eating right all the time will be..And I want to complete phase 1 without cheating!!!! This is my goal!!!! Have a super day! I am soooooo glad i found this board for daily support and advice!
THANKS
JODI ( in las vegas)

Morning all......yah Ana on passing on the donuts.

Thanks Tracy , I'm all packed and ready to rumble. Good job on stepping away from that scale.

Hi Natalie, you're really doing good, hope your back gets to feeling better.

It's good to see you in check in Jodi , good luck! In answer to this: Also I do not like the V8 is it That important that we drink it? It isn't mandatory, just a suggestion as it's a good veggie drink. Also since juice has often been such an important food item for some people for breakfast, I think one reason he put it there was so those who did use juice would have a good substitute and still feel satisfied. jmo

Hi to all who follow, have a good one!

Morning ladies! I hope everyone is doing well.

Traci- I stayed off the scale this morning! Thats' a big accomplishment already!

Jojo- Welcome! Day two yay! Ooo the eggs definitely got old for me and I am only on day 11. Now I am having like cheese, almonds, and cherry tomotoes for breakfast! I am getting desperate to try anything but bacon and eggs!

Natalie- I am sorry to hear about the injury but I am glad you are here and checking in and doing awesome! Yay!

Ana- That is quite something to be proud of- the Krispy Kreme experiment was a success! Pat yourself on the back for that one for sure.

Marva- I always look forward to your posts and cheerleading that you do. Thank you for keeping me going

Well everyone I am having a hard time shaking this col.d I finally took something this morning for the congestion that JUST WONT GO AWAY! It's now been 8 days and my fiance thinks he is getting it now. He may be coming home early though so even though it's because he doesn't feel good I have to admit I am happy he will be home early. Other than the not feeling well portion and the TOM paired with it I am doing well with the beach. I am looking forward to the cold and TOM going away and getting back to my old self and getting moving. For now it seems my body needs some TLC with rest.

Have a great day gals!

Good Morning everyone - a little sore from yesterday's run, but feeling good about it. Today will be a light workout with upperbody at the gym, and hopefully finding a different cardio to do. Probably Tae Bo or something like that at home. I don't want to overdo it with the running again. Today I'm on a mission to find some different running shorts. The ones I bought yesterday are so-so.

justmarvi: i really like V8, and I almost forgot about it, until reading through the menu plans for P1. i think you're right about the whole "juice" aspect of it.

anadday: yay on resisting the Krispy kremes!!! just keeps getting easier and easier...though i'm sure they smelled yummy!

traci: you know, i still can't believe i can actually run now too. Just last September I was barely getting up to running 1 mile straight. I'm not saying I totally love it now...but DH said, it's only a small group of people who actually LOVE it. I don't love it, but i realized it's a good way for me to set goals. My first goal was a mile. Then it was the Army 2 mile test. Then it was the 5K, the airfield (4.1 miles) and now the 10K coming up. My ultimate plan is to do a half marathon this fall. There have been a few negative people along the way (not DH...other people) and I honestly think it's motivating me to keep plugging away! i'm not going for olympic times..just being a "finisher"!!!

natalie: i'm glad that you're feeling so good! i know the support from this board really helps me as well!

jojobee: hang in there...you can definitely get through P1 cheat free!!

watermelon: hope you and fiance are feeling better soon!!

kathymelts: you are doing so well!!! keep up your hard work!!! you ARE melting!

Afternoon everybody!

Well, today is my last day on Phase 1... I can't believe I went two whole weeks w/ no cheats!

I have a busy day today; I'm working two jobs and I'm basically going to be going all day 'cause I'm scheduled for both today. But I planned ahead and have all my meals and snacks packed, so I don't have a reason to go astray, and hopefully staying busy will keep my mind off food.

Tomorrow I'm going to get on the scale....

Congrats to everyone on jobs well done! We're all so awesome!

Hey There

Day two of reinduction - is definitely harder than when I did it for the first time in December but doing well. Not sticking 100% to Phase I but dang close (had whole grain toast with breakfast):

B = 2 eggs; whole grain toast; diet V8 splash
S = Snack sausage stick
L = Broccoli and lean chicken strips
S = probably rest of sausage sticks
D = tbd

Up a pound but think its TOM stuff Renee

Hi everyone, I'm on day 9 here. I am still to this day totally craving carbs, I'm so proud of myself for not cheating.
I'm down 11lbs. I know that's fantastic. - I'm also exercising a LOT and not eating my snacks. That's probably got a lot to do with my carb cravings.

I usually have about 5 slices of turkey bacon and 2 eggs for bkfst.
Lunch... ~ sigh. I don't know, it's all a blur now. Whatever I have that isn't high in fat and carb.
Dinner, is either fish or chicken with a veggie.
Tonight I'm going to a bbq and I'll have a hamburger with lettuce & tomato, and a big salad.

I can't wait till I'm done. I loate this phase, it's "the punishment phase" I call it. For letting myself get fat.

Good luck everyone. Great job.
